Matsuya Official X Announces MATSUYA PASS July Edition Goes on Sale Today at 10 AM for Up to 100 Yen Off, Urges Fans to Be the Fastest to Get It
Matsuya’s official X account (@matsuya_foods) announced at 10:26 AM on June 26 the release of the July edition of its subscription pass ‘MATSUYA PASS (Matsuya Pass),’ urging fans to be the “fastest to get it” as sales began that same day at 10 AM. The post highlighted the update points — “usable through the app too” and “usable at brands other than Matsuya too” — while also hinting at limited quantities, saying, “Get yours before it sells out and make the most of it all through July.”
On Sale Today at 10 AM, Priced at 200 Yen for Up to 100 Yen Off
According to the attached announcement poster, MATSUYA PASS goes on sale from 10 AM on Friday, June 26, and can be used via the Matsuya App or the ticket vending machine. Priced at 200 yen (tax included), it lets buyers get up to 100 yen off eligible menu items any number of times during the usage period, which runs from July 1 to July 31, 2026. The pass can be purchased through the Matsuya App (Matsuben Net / Matsuya Mobile Order) or the ticket vending machine, and is sold in limited quantities. The physical pass itself is marked “100 yen off” and “70 yen off,” designed so that classic Set Meals get 100 yen off, while classic Beef Bowls, Bowls, and Curry and Rice get 70 yen off.
Updates From the Previous Edition: App Compatibility and Expansion to Group Brands
MATSUYA PASS marks a return following the previous edition sold in March 2026, and the July edition’s release had already been announced in an official notice dated June 22. There are two major changes from the previous edition. First, the stores where it can be used have expanded from Matsuya alone to all Matsuya Foods group brands (Matsuya, Matsunoya, My Curry Shokudo, Shoken Chinese Dining, Matsutaro, Steak-ya Matsu, and Steak Set Meal Matsugyu). Second, in terms of how it’s used, a new route has been added allowing customers to scan a QR code through the Matsuya App, in addition to holding a QR code up to the ticket vending machine. The “usable through the app too” and “usable at brands other than Matsuya too” points emphasized in this post refer to these two updates.
