Matsuya's Official X Reports on "the Taste of Opening Day Beef Bowl" at Newly Opened Shin-Yurigaoka Store
At 7:26 PM on June 26, Matsuya’s official X account (@matsuya_foods) visited the newly opened Matsuya/Matsunoya Shin-Yurigaoka store, saying “We went right away,” and reported trying the Beef Bowl. The post added a comment on the taste, “I see. So this is the taste of opening day Beef Bowl…,” and also shared the location: “A 3-minute walk from the north exit of Shin-Yurigaoka Station!”
Visiting the Store on Its Opening Day to Try the Beef Bowl
The first image shows the exterior of the Shin-Yurigaoka store at night, a street-level location with “Matsuya” and “Matsunoya” logo signage side by side, along with digital signage displaying the menu, a ticket vending machine, and a banner announcing the opening. The second image shows a tray holding a Beef Bowl with Extra Broth and Miso Soup, with four “choose from 4 kinds of free service tickets” laid out in front. Amid a string of new product launches, the fact that the official account chose the most classic Beef Bowl on the new store’s opening day can also be read as an effort to check the store’s fundamental flavor.
A Matsunoya Co-located Store 3 Minutes on Foot from the North Exit of Shin-Yurigaoka Station, Open 24 Hours
The opening announcement poster shown in the second image reads “6.26 FRIDAY AM10:00 OPEN,” “Matsuya / Matsunoya Shin-Yurigaoka Store,” “1-16-7 Manpukuji, Asao-ku, Kawasaki-shi, Kanagawa,” “24-hour operation,” “Morning Meal from 350 yen,” and “Table seating available,” along with a map showing access from the nearest station. The Shin-Yurigaoka store is a Matsunoya co-located store that opened just today, June 26, at 10:00 AM, making it the second Matsuya location in Asao-ku, Kawasaki-shi. A poster for the joint Matsuya x Matsunoya campaign, “We want to be everyone’s dining table,” is also on display.
Editor's Note
The official account wasted no time trying the Beef Bowl on opening day. Service tickets in hand and all — it somehow makes them feel relatable.
