The temporary closure notice attached to the store name of Matsuya Komaki Store (0473) in Komaki City, Aichi Prefecture — “*Temporarily closed from 3:00 PM on July 15, reopening at 3:00 PM on July 22” — was removed by August 22, restoring the store name display to the standard “Matsuya Komaki Store.” The temporary closure date and reopening date information that had been set on the store page were also deleted. The notice was taken down roughly a month after the scheduled reopening date of July 22.

Store Name Restored to “Matsuya Komaki Store,” Closure and Reopening Dates Also Cleared

Before the update, the store name read “Matsuya Komaki Store *Temporarily closed from 3:00 PM on July 15, reopening at 3:00 PM on July 22,” with the store page listing 3:00 PM on July 15 as the temporary closure date and 3:00 PM on July 22 as the reopening date. With this update, the notice text has been dropped from the store name, and both the temporary closure date and reopening date have reverted to unset. On the Matsuya official website, the store is now listed simply as “Matsuya Komaki Store,” the same as any normally operating location.

From Late-June Notice to July 22 Fluctuation, and Now Removal

This temporary closure notice was added to the store name on June 30, announcing the plan to close temporarily from 3:00 PM on July 15 and reopen at 3:00 PM on July 22. On the scheduled reopening date of July 22, the notice was briefly removed during the day, returning the name to its normal display, but that same evening the identical notice reappeared in the store name. After that, the same notice remained in the store name even past the scheduled reopening date, and it was not until around a month later, by August 22, that the store name reverted to its normal display.

The actual reopening took place as scheduled on July 22, and this change simply resolves the lingering display of the notice text that had remained in the store name. It does not indicate any new temporary closure or reopening plan.

Matsuya Komaki Store is located in Ogihigashi, Komaki City, Aichi Prefecture, and is the only Matsuya in Komaki City. It has no co-located brand. There are 54 Matsuya locations operating in Aichi Prefecture, accounting for about 4.5% of Matsuya’s nationwide total of 1,210 stores.
