On the official Matsuya website, a notice about the temporary closure and reopening of Matsuya Komaki Branch (store 0473) has been displayed with shifting visibility on July 22. The notice states that the store closed temporarily at 15:00 on July 15, 2026, and will reopen at 15:00 on July 22 — the very day given as the scheduled reopening date.

Notice Disappeared at Midday, Reappeared in the Evening

On the official website on July 22, the temporary closure and reopening notice disappeared shortly after midday, with the page briefly reverting to a normal-operation display. By evening, however, the same notice had reappeared.

As of now, the official website indicates a reopening scheduled for 15:00 on July 22. Regarding Matsuya Komaki Branch, a notice had already appeared as of June 30 announcing that the store would close temporarily from July 15 and reopen with a renewal on July 22. Today’s display falls on that very scheduled reopening date. The temporary closure period runs roughly one week, with both the closing and reopening times set at 15:00.

Komaki City’s Only Matsuya, With No Co-located Brand

Matsuya Komaki Branch is located in Ogihigashi, Komaki City, Aichi Prefecture, and operates around the clock (24-hour operation). It is the only Matsuya in Aichi Prefecture with “Komaki” in its store name, and there are no other Matsuya locations within Komaki City.

Nearly half of the Matsuya locations in Aichi Prefecture are co-located with Matsunoya or My Curry Shokudo, but Komaki Branch has no such co-located brand, operating as a standalone Matsuya centered on Beef Bowl. Looking at the surrounding area, Matsuya locations are also scattered across neighboring municipalities such as Kasugai City, Inuyama City, Konan City, and Toyoyama Town, meaning the area around Komaki City is covered by multiple stores.
