Matsuya Kadoma Store and Tatsuno Store to Temporarily Close for About Two Weeks Starting Mid-May — First Kansai Stores Added to the May Renovation Schedule
On April 30, planned temporary closures were added to the store data on Matsuya’s official website for two stores: the Matsuya Kadoma Store (Kadoma City, Osaka Prefecture; co-located with a My Curry Shokudo) and the Matsuya Tatsuno Store (Tatsuno City, Hyogo Prefecture). Both stores will undergo about two weeks of renovation closure starting in mid-May before reopening with a renewal opening.

May Temporary Closures Now Total 8 Stores Nationwide
With this addition, the number of Matsuya stores nationwide scheduled for temporary closure in May has risen to 8. Until now, May’s temporary closures had been concentrated in the eastern Japan and Tokai areas — this is the first time Kansai stores have been added.

For both the Kadoma Store and the Tatsuno Store, the only changes to the store data are the store name (a note about the temporary closure added) and the temporary closure and reopening date/time — three items in total. The store data does not reveal whether a My Curry Shokudo or Matsunoya will be newly co-located after the renovation, or whether the handling of an existing co-located brand will change. This will need to be confirmed by watching for any change in the store name at the renewal opening.
