Matsuya Reveals Luffy & Loki Artwork on ONE PIECE "Original Collaboration Bowl"
On July 17, Matsuya posted a video on its official X account. The video marked the first reveal of the design on the “Original Collaboration Bowl,” a lottery prize from the TV anime ONE PIECE collaboration, showing the artwork wrapping all the way around the bowl. Entries are accepted via receipts for orders of 800 yen (tax included) or more, with 100 winners chosen by lottery.
The roughly nine-second video rotates a white bowl set on a coaster through 360 degrees, showing the artwork on its sides from end to end. At the center is Luffy, wearing not his straw hat but a helmet with golden horns and draped in red fur. He holds up a bowl piled with Beef Bowl in one hand while thrusting his other fist into the air, laughing. As the rotation continues, Loki appears with purple hair and a black hat, also holding a bowl of Beef Bowl and laughing with his mouth wide open, and the “MATSUYA” and “ONE PIECE” logos along with the straw hat skull mark encircle the bowl. Luffy’s helmet-and-fur design appears to reflect the world of giants in “Elbaf Arc,” the anime’s latest story arc and the basis for this collaboration.
Original Artwork of Luffy & Loki Wraps Around the Bowl
The bowl lottery itself was first announced on the official X account on June 28, and was also announced via a notification from the Matsuya official app on July 10. However, the prize photos shown in previous announcements mainly featured just the side with Luffy holding Beef Bowl, and it was not revealed which characters appeared around the rest of the bowl. This rotating video finally showed the full picture: two pieces of Matsuya-exclusive original artwork, Luffy and Loki, arranged facing each other.
This “Luffy & Loki” pairing also appears as Matsuya-exclusive original artwork across all 12 versions of the collaboration’s “Original Acrylic Block Chopstick Rest,” showing that the same artwork is being used across multiple pieces of merchandise.

The “Collaboration Bowl Lottery” Is Becoming a Regular Matsuya Campaign
The format of entering with a receipt for 800 yen or more for a chance to win a collaboration-exclusive bowl has been used repeatedly in Matsuya’s collaboration campaigns. Looking back at past announcements, this “Collaboration Bowl” giveaway of 100 bowls via web lottery first appeared in the Chiikawa collaboration that began on December 24, 2025, followed by the second Chiikawa round on February 13, 2026, making this ONE PIECE collaboration the third instance. This suggests that making the prize bowl itself the centerpiece of a collaboration is becoming an established Matsuya campaign format.
The ONE PIECE collaboration is a large-scale campaign running from 10:00 on June 30 to 9:59 on October 6, with multiple initiatives running in parallel, including collaboration sets, products bundled with the chopstick rest, and a follow-and-repost campaign. Among these, this bowl lottery can be seen as a move to generate buzz through the bowl’s design.
Editor's Note
Luffy wearing a giant's helmet instead of his straw hat really captures the Elbaf Arc vibe. An 800 yen receipt is surprisingly easy to hit with a Beef Bowl plus something extra.
