Matsuya’s First Store in Tomisato City, 76th in Chiba Prefecture

Tomisato City has never had a Matsuya before, making this the city’s first. It is the 76th store in Chiba Prefecture. As the store name suggests, it is located in the Nanae area near the Tomisato Interchange on the Higashi-Kanto Expressway, and being open 24 hours a day, it accommodates late-night and early-morning customers as well.

Opening as a Store Co-located with Matsunoya

The Tomisato Interchange Store is co-located with Matsunoya. This format allows customers to use both Matsunoya, known for tonkatsu, and Matsuya, known for its Beef Bowl, at a single location.

The Ongoing Wave of New Store Openings

Matsuya continues to open new stores in neighboring prefectures as well. Most recently, in June, the Shin-Yurigaoka Store in Kanagawa Prefecture, the Nishi-Urawa Station Store in Saitama Prefecture, the Ishioka Store in Ibaraki Prefecture, and the Numazu Higashi Shiiji Store in Shizuoka Prefecture opened in quick succession. The Tomisato Interchange Store, set to open on July 17, is another store joining this wave of openings.

Update: Duplicate Wording in Store Name Corrected

After the opening announcement was published, the store name listed on the store locator was corrected. The listing “Matsuya Tomisato Interchange Store Store,” which had a duplicated “Store,” has been revised to “Matsuya Tomisato Interchange Store.” There is no change to the opening date (10:00 on July 17), the co-location with Matsunoya, the 24-hour operation, or the address (552-11 Nanae, Tomisato City, Chiba Prefecture).

Editor's Note

Matsuya is finally coming to Tomisato City. For those who use the Higashi-Kanto Expressway, there's now one more late-night stop to choose from.
