Matsuya Official App and Matsuben Net to Undergo System Maintenance on July 16, Temporarily Unavailable

Matsuya Foods announced on July 15, via a notice on the Matsuya official website, that it will carry out system maintenance for the Matsuya Official App and Matsuben Net on Thursday, July 16. The maintenance is scheduled to run from 12:15 AM to 10:00 AM that day, during which the app and Matsuben Net will be unavailable. The notice was posted under “Important,” one of the less frequently used categories among Matsuya’s announcements.

Four Services—the Official App and Matsuben Net Lineup—Will Be Suspended

According to the official website, the system maintenance is scheduled for July 16, 2026 (Thursday), from 12:15 AM to 10:00 AM (planned). The end time is subject to change. The following four services will be unavailable during this period:

• Matsuya Official App
• Matsuben Net (web)
• Matsuben Net (mini-app)
• Matsuben Delivery (web)

All of these are services tied to Mobile Order and app-membership functions, so advance ordering and pickup reservations will be suspended during this window. On the other hand, ordering via in-store ticket vending machines is not included among the affected services, and dining at stores itself is expected to continue as usual.

Maintenance Overlaps with the “Gogotoku” Double-Points Campaign

Matsuben Net is currently running the “Gogotoku Point Boost Campaign,” which awards double points on pickups between 2 PM and 6 PM each day from 2 PM on July 14 to 6 PM on July 20. This maintenance window (12:15 AM to 10 AM on the 16th) falls right in the middle of that campaign period.

That said, since the pickup window eligible for double points (2 PM–6 PM) does not overlap with the maintenance window (12:15 AM–10 AM), the campaign’s point-award conditions themselves are unaffected. However, anyone hoping to place an early-morning order through Matsuben Net should keep in mind that the service itself will be inaccessible during maintenance. In early July, a “Yorutoku Point Boost Campaign” covering 6 PM–11 PM pickups was also held, meaning this maintenance falls in the midst of an ongoing string of Matsuben Net-related initiatives.

An “Important” Category Notice—A Rare Occurrence

This announcement is classified under “Important,” one of the categories used for Matsuya’s notices. Looking back at past notices, the “Important” category has been used only for reports of glitches or outages, with the most recent example being a May 2022 notice about a bug fix for the Matsuya Official App (Android version). This marks the first “Important”-category notice in roughly four years.

Whereas past “Important”-category notices were all after-the-fact reports issued once a glitch had already occurred, this one differs in that it announces the date and time of planned maintenance in advance. As the app and Matsuben Net have become established as an everyday ordering channel, this advance notice was apparently deemed significant enough to warrant the “Important” category.
