Matsuya Official X Asks Followers to Choose Between Two Formats for Next Service Vouchers, Including a New Version with a Regular-Size Beef Plate Redemption

Matsuya’s official X account (@matsuya_foods) posted at 3:52 p.m. on June 26, presenting two options for the format of its next service vouchers and asking followers, “Which do you prefer?”

The Two Options Presented

The post laid out the following two options.

• ① The current format: A booklet of four vouchers, each redeemable for a side dish of your choice from four types.
• ② A new format: Of the four vouchers, one is redeemable for one regular-size beef plate after collecting a set number of vouchers, while the other three are fixed to one each of kimchi, soft-boiled egg, and potato salad (no choice of type).

Option ① carries over the current service vouchers as they are. Option ② fixes some of the sides and adds a new mechanism that lets customers collect vouchers to redeem for one regular-size beef plate.

The Current Vouchers Are the ‘Choose from 4 Free Service Vouchers’; a Stamp System Was Floated on June 4

The current service vouchers are the “Choose from 4 Free Service Vouchers,” distributed from late April 2026 around Golden Week. They come in a booklet of four, and each voucher can be exchanged for one item from four types: potato salad, raw egg, kimchi, and takeout miso soup. They are valid through the end of June. In Option ②, miso soup would drop out of the fixed lineup, with kimchi, soft-boiled egg (raw egg), and potato salad fixed, and the freed-up fourth voucher assigned to the regular-size beef plate redemption.

In a June 4 post, the official X account also noted the end-of-June expiration of the vouchers and asked, “Would you be happy if the next service vouchers came with a perk after collecting a certain number?”, floating a stamp-style mechanism. This latest two-option post turns that idea into concrete choices and asks for opinions.
