An Exit After Surviving the April 28 Choice of Side Cutback

The Lunch Choice of Side lineup underwent a major restructuring on April 28, shrinking from 10 options down to 4. At that time, Pickled Vegetables, Coca-Cola, Chilled Tofu with Ginger and Green Onion, Grated Domestic Yam Paste, Mt. Fuji Kimchi, and Potato Salad & Fresh Vegetables all disappeared at once, but Miso Soup with Pork & Vegetables Only was one of the four items that survived. This time, that same item was discontinued on its own, further narrowing the lineup roughly two months after the April 28 cutback.

With this discontinuation, the Lunch Choice of Side lineup is now down to three options: Soft-boiled Egg , Raw Egg , and Fresh Vegetable Salad (50 yen). The lineup now consists of eggs and fresh vegetables, with no warm soup option remaining.
