Choice of Side Dish: “Soft-boiled Egg” or “Mt. Fuji Kimchi”

The accompanying image prominently features the “Twice-cooked Pork Set Meal” (880 yen), with cabbage, green pepper, carrot, onion, and juicy pork stir-fried in a Chinese-style sauce and topped with white sesame seeds. The set meal comes with a choice of side dish: the mild Soft-boiled Egg with its “melting yolk,” or the fiery Mt. Twice-cooked Pork is a signature stamina-boosting Chinese dish for Matsuya’s summer, returning again this year as a limited-time offering. An official announcement dated July 9 noted that this year’s Chinese-style sauce has been renewed into an “authentic Chinese sauce” pursuing sweetness, richness, and a moderate level of spice. Pricing is 880 yen for the Twice-cooked Pork Set Meal, 1,370 yen for the Double, and 680 yen for the Only option (all tax included). It launches at 10 a.m. on July 14.
