On April 9, Matsuya announced that it will begin selling “Chunky Stewed Chicken Curry and Rice” from 10:00 AM on Tuesday, April 14, 2026. The comeback will run as a limited-time offering for about a month.
Matsuya describes the dish as “a plate that combines Matsuya’s ‘Gorochiki,’ which has a loyal fan base, with the ‘Original Curry and Rice’ that is a favorite pick among Matsuya employees,” adding that it is “a popular menu item that has received numerous requests on social media for it to become a regular offering or make a comeback.”
