On May 23, 2026 at 1:00 PM, Matsuya’s official X account (@matsuya_foods) posted a re-announcement of its takeout-only “Bowls and Taco Rice Bulk-Buy Deal Campaign” (10:00 AM on May 19, 2026 to 11:59 PM on May 31, 2026; Matsuben Net and Matsuya Mobile Order). The image attached to the post shows photos of the four eligible menu items, along with the period and eligible services, promoting savings of up to 250 yen.

Original Post

A campaign is underway: bulk-buy bowl menu items and taco rice bento on the Matsuya App and save up to 250 yen ✨

The post is a single line that plainly conveys the key points: the campaign covers takeout bulk orders of bowl menu items and taco rice bento, and the discount is up to 250 yen.

Four Eligible Menu Items Featured in the Attached Image

The announcement image attached to the post shows photos of four eligible menu items.

Order shown	Menu item
1	Boneless Short Rib and Kimchi Bowl
2	Beef Bibimbap Bowl
3	Taco Rice
4	Sausage and Egg Taco Rice

When the official announcement was published on May 15, the eligible items were listed as five: Beef Bibimbap Bowl, Boneless Short Rib and Kimchi Bowl, New Grilled Beef Bowl, Taco Rice, and Sausage and Egg Taco Rice. The image this time narrows that to four, leaving out the New Grilled Beef Bowl. Because the New Grilled Beef Bowl is not sold at stores co-located with Matsunoya or My Curry Shokudo, it may have been dropped to keep the takeout-focused promotion to four items.

Three Stages of Announcements: May 15 Announcement → May 19 Start Notice → May 23 Re-announcement

Here is the timeline of announcements for this campaign.

Date	Channel	Content
May 15, 2026, 3:01 PM	Official announcement	Campaign announced (start on May 19 previewed)
May 19, 2026, 10:32 AM	Official app	Push notification on the start day
May 23, 2026, 1:00 PM (this post)	Official X	Re-announcement during the campaign period

This re-announcement comes about 8 days after the May 15 announcement and 4 days after the May 19 start. With about 8 days remaining until the campaign ends on May 31, it appears intended as a renewed push for the second half.

Two Taco Rice Items in the Campaign Received Discontinuation Notices on May 21

Taco Rice and Sausage and Egg Taco Rice, both eligible for the campaign, were tagged with the note “※To be discontinued successively” on the menu page on May 21 (a simultaneous discontinuation notice for three taco rice–type items, including the Hamburg Steak with Taco Salsa Set Meal).

Menu item	Discontinuation notice on May 21	Eligible for this campaign
Taco Rice	Applied	Yes
Sausage and Egg Taco Rice	Applied	Yes
Hamburg Steak with Taco Salsa Set Meal	Applied	No (outside the bowl category)

The two items under discontinuation notices remain eligible for the campaign, so the bulk-buy discount stays available until the campaign ends on May 31. That leaves roughly 8 days to buy taco rice–type items at a discount through takeout bulk orders, just days after the discontinuation notice.
