In an official announcement dated May 15, Matsuya said it will run the ‘Bowls & Taco Rice Bundle Deal Campaign,’ exclusive to Matsuben Net and Matsuya Mobile Order, from Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at 10:00 through Sunday, May 31 at 23:59. Combining two to five of the five eligible menu items into a set brings a tiered discount of up to 250 yen off the stacked price.

Discount Structure: Tiered Discounts of Up to 250 Yen Off Depending on Set Size

Customers can freely mix types and sizes from the eligible menu and buy in bulk, with the discount increasing in steps from the stacked price.

The 5-piece set reaches the 250 yen cap. Per additional item, the discount is 100 yen for the 2nd, 50 yen for the 3rd, 50 yen for the 4th, and 50 yen for the 5th, so the 100 yen off at the 2nd item is the largest, with each item from the 3rd onward adding 50 yen.

Taco Rice and Sausage and Egg Taco Rice, both released May 5, have been added to a bundle campaign for the first time about two weeks after launch. Because the New Grilled Beef Bowl is not sold at stores co-located with Matsunoya or My Curry Shokudo, customers using this bundle campaign at those co-located stores effectively have only four eligible items.

A Wave of Promotions Starting May 19

10:00 on May 19 is also when the new menu item ‘Set Meal of Grilled Thick Pork with Chimichurri Sauce’ (1,280 yen), announced on May 14, goes on sale. An app-exclusive bulk-buy campaign runs in parallel at the same time.

Pairing a new menu launch with a promotion for takeout channels follows the same pattern as the May 5 Taco Rice launch, when a follow-and-repost campaign was dropped at 10:00 the same day. This time the May 19 10:00 promotions are split between a new in-store menu item and a discount campaign aimed at takeout.

Positioning as a ‘Bowl à la Carte’ Set

In the official announcement, the discount tiers are labeled with names prefixed by ‘Bowl à la Carte,’ such as ‘2-piece Bowl à la Carte set’ and ‘3-piece Bowl à la Carte set.’ The eligible items include two taco rice dishes, but in terms of product structure the tiered discount is designed within the framework of ‘Bowl à la Carte’ (a group of bowl-style takeout products).
