Matsuya's Official X Spotlights Original Artwork on ONE PIECE Collab Chopstick Rests 'Luffy & Roki'

At 10:00 a.m. on August 28, Matsuya’s official X account posted images revealing that Luffy and Roki on the “Original Acrylic Block Chopstick Rest” — a bonus item for ordering the “Giant Serving Set” and “ONE PIECE Set,” part of the collaboration with the TV anime ONE PIECE — feature artwork drawn exclusively for the collaboration. Part 2 of the Matsuya x ONE PIECE collaboration, “Natsu da! En da! Daimanpuku Matsuri” (a summer feast campaign), began on August 18 and runs through 9:59 a.m. on October 6, with the chopstick rests distributed throughout that entire period.

Luffy and Roki Featured on Two Acrylic Blocks

The posted images show two clear acrylic blocks side by side. Both feature Luffy and Roki posed in front of Matsuya’s collaboration Beef Bowl: the top block places Roki on the left and the straw-hatted Luffy on the right, while the bottom block is split by a diagonal line, again with Roki on the left and Luffy on the right. Each block carries the character names “MONKEY.D.LUFFY” and “LOKI,” the “Matsuya x ONE PIECE” logo, and a “NOT FOR SALE” notice. Roki is a character from the currently airing Elbaf Arc, and the “Giant Serving Set” — which piles on three times the usual amount of meat and onion — is also named after the Elbaf Arc.

The phrase “Luffy & Roki” paired with “original artwork,” as used in the post’s text, previously appeared in the July 17 announcement of the “Original Collaboration Bowl” giveaway drawing — making this the second time the official X account has used this exact combination of terms.

Chopstick Rests for Adult-Oriented Sets Have Continued Since Part 1

The chopstick rest is a bonus given at random from a full lineup of 12 designs when ordering the “Giant Serving Set” (1,430 yen, tax included) or the “ONE PIECE Set.” Of the 12 designs, 10 feature the Straw Hat Pirates, while the remaining 2 are Matsuya-original artwork of Luffy and Roki; all are made of 8mm-thick acrylic. The “ONE PIECE Set” is a lineup that adds a set fee to six Beef Bowl varieties, including the “ONE PIECE Beef Bowl” (660 yen, tax included), and all seven target items have been on sale continuously since the Part 1 collaboration began on June 30.

Following Part 1, which began on June 30, the collaboration switched to Part 2 on August 18. With this transition, the bonus for the Kids’ Menu changed from an “Original Sticker Sheet” to an “Original Name Charm,” but the chopstick rest bundled with the adult-oriented “Giant Serving Set” and “ONE PIECE Set” has continued to be offered as the same bonus throughout the entire distribution period, from 10:00 a.m. on June 30 to 9:59 a.m. on October 6.
