In a notice on the Matsuya website on June 24, 2026, Matsuya announced the “Matsuya Meat Day Campaign” for Monday, June 29. Available only for orders placed through Matsuya Foods’ official apps, “Matsuben Net” and “Matsuya Mobile Order,” it takes 200 yen off the regular price of four set meals. Until now, the monthly Meat Day Campaign has centered on yakiniku items in Large Serving sizes. This month, the ‘Triple’ versions of the ‘Tomato Hamburg Steak Meal’ and the ‘Cheese Tomato Hamburg Steak Meal’ are newly included.

Four Items Eligible, With Hamburg Steak ‘Triple’ Joining for the First Time

The four eligible items are the two staple Large Serving options, Yakiniku Beef and Yakiniku Boneless Short Rib, plus two Umatoma hamburg steak ‘Triple’ options. The campaign image carries the caption “The Hamburg Steak Triple Set Meal joins the lineup! A whopping 300g!”, making the 300g volume of three hamburg steak patties the main attraction. The image has a red “Matsuya App Only” banner at the upper left, a large “200 yen off” in the center, the date “6/29 (Mon) through 23:59,” and the “Kansha no Niku no Hi (Thank-You Meat Day)” logo, with photos of the yakiniku and hamburg steak dishes side by side.

All prices include tax, and the discount is a flat 200 yen on all four items. The lowest price is 1,180 yen for the Large Serving Yakiniku Beef Set Meal and the Large Serving Yakiniku Boneless Short Rib Set Meal, while the hamburg steak items come to 1,380 yen and 1,580 yen.

Conditions of Use

The discount applies only to orders placed through the official apps and cannot be obtained at ticket vending machines or on tablets. It can be used for both dine-in and takeout, but takeout orders do not include miso soup, which must be purchased separately. The campaign runs for one day only, Monday, June 29, from 0:00 to 23:59. It applies at Matsuya stores nationwide, with some exceptions: the Haneda Innovation City Store, the Narita Airport Terminal 3 Store, expressway PA stores, and Matsuben Delivery are excluded.

Eligible Items Change Month to Month

The Meat Day Campaign is held on the 29th of every month, and the eligible items change from month to month. Lining up the most recent campaigns makes this month’s addition of hamburg steak items clear.

From March through May, the lineup kept Large Serving Yakiniku Beef and Large Serving Yakiniku Boneless Short Rib as fixed slots and paired them with pork yakiniku or grilled pork. This month the pork items are out, replaced by two Umatoma hamburg steak ‘Triple’ items. While past campaigns used the ‘Large Serving’ size label, the hamburg steak items use ‘Triple,’ and this is the first time in the last four campaigns that a hamburg steak category has appeared among the eligible items.
