Highlights of Each Item

Marry Me Chicken Set Meal (100 Stores)

This is the largest rollout among today’s new items. It appears to be Matsuya’s take on the Italian dish “Marry Me Chicken,” reworked into a set meal.

Pork & Kimchi Set Meal (70 Stores)

This is a staple limited-time menu item that Matsuya has sold multiple times in the past. Most recently, in February 2022, it appeared as the “Pork & Kimchi Bowl” and “Pork & Kimchi Hot Pot Set.” This time it returns as a store-limited offering.

New Miso Soup with Pork & Vegetables (100 Stores)

The current regular menu already includes “Miso Soup with Pork & Vegetables Only” (240 yen), but a new version is now rolling out at select stores as “New Miso Soup with Pork & Vegetables.” The renewal is being tested across 100 stores.

Diavola-style Grilled Chicken (70 Stores)

A grilled chicken dish with an Italian flavor profile. It represents a new genre for Matsuya’s store-limited menu.

Store-Limited Lineup Expands

With the addition of these four items, the store-limited menu now totals seven items.

Menu Item Number of Stores
Iburigakko Beef Bowl 4 stores
Beef Bowl Happy Hour 71 stores
Afternoon Breakfast 99 stores
Diavola-style Grilled Chicken 70 stores
Marry Me Chicken Set Meal 100 stores
Pork & Kimchi Set Meal 70 stores
New Miso Soup with Pork & Vegetables 100 stores

Since seven items were discontinued all at once on March 30, the store-limited menu had shrunk to three items — it has now bounced back to a lineup of seven.

Editor's Note

From Marry Me Chicken to the New Miso Soup with Pork & Vegetables, this lineup spans everything from Italian flair to Japanese comfort-food staples. Rolling the New Miso Soup with Pork & Vegetables out to 100 stores signals a serious test.
