It has been confirmed that Matsuya Kokubunji Nishimotomachi Store in Kokubunji City, Tokyo, and Matsuya Ritsumeikan Daimae Store in Kyoto City temporarily closed today, March 31, at 3 PM. Both stores are scheduled to reopen as Matsunoya co-located stores, and the notation “(Matsunoya co-located)” has been added to their store data.

Matsuya Kokubunji Nishimotomachi Store
Located at 2-9-25 Nishimotomachi, Kokubunji City, Tokyo. There are three Matsuya locations within Kokubunji City, and this renovation will make Kokubunji Nishimotomachi Store the city’s first Matsunoya co-located store. During the renovation, Kokubunji Kitaguchi Store and Kokubunji Minamiguchi Store remain available.
Matsuya Ritsumeikan Daimae Store
Located at 117-3 Hirano Miyanishi-cho, Kita Ward, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture. With this renewal, it becomes the second Matsunoya co-located store in Kyoto Prefecture, following Uji Ogura Store. Kyoto Prefecture has 15 Matsuya locations in total, raising the co-location rate to 13.3%.

Matsunoya co-location has been confirmed for three stores: Hatsukaichi Store, Kokubunji Nishimotomachi Store, and Ritsumeikan Daimae Store. The renewal details for the other three — Atsugi, Ichihara Shirogane-dori, and Kiyose Noshio — have yet to be finalized.
