At 11:00 AM on August 15, Matsuya’s official X account (@matsuya_foods) posted about the “Giant Serving Set,” a collaboration item with the TV anime ONE PIECE. Using phrases tied to the currently airing anime storyline — “Even the giants of Elbaf would be surprised” and “This summer, could you become a giant too!?” — the post highlighted the item’s overwhelming volume: Extra-large Serving rice topped with meat and onion at triple the Regular Serving amount. However, the Giant Serving Set is not a new product released today — it’s an existing collaboration item that has been on sale continuously since June 30.

The “Giant Serving Set” Has Been a Flagship Collaboration Item Since June 30

The Giant Serving Set is a 1,430-yen (tax included) menu item released at 10:00 AM on June 30, 2026 as part of the Matsuya x TV anime ONE PIECE collaboration project — a bowl piling meat and onion at triple the Regular Serving amount atop Extra-large Serving rice. It was one of seven collaboration items that debuted together that day, and as of August 15 — a month and a half after release — it remains on sale unchanged in price and content.

A New “Elbaf Arc” Framing, Different from Past Promotions, Just Ahead of Part 2

This is not the first time Matsuya’s official X account has featured the Giant Serving Set — it follows the June 20 release announcement and the June 26 and July 3 posts introducing the chopstick rest bonus item. But while those earlier posts foregrounded the price and the bonus item, this post is different: it leans on phrases tied to the currently airing anime’s story — the Land of Giants, Elbaf Arc — such as “the giants of Elbaf” and “giants.”

This “Elbaf Arc” framing also matches Matsuya’s own announcements. An official notice published on August 14, announcing the start of Part 2 of the collaboration, states clearly that the “Giant Serving Set” and “ONE PIECE Set,” both tied to the Elbaf Arc, are on sale. According to the same notice, the TV anime ONE PIECE has been airing its Elbaf Arc since April 5, 2026.

Part 2 of the collaboration runs from 10:00 AM on August 18, 2026 through 9:59 AM on October 6, 2026. In Part 2, the Kids’ Menu prize switches to the Original Name Charm, and additional promotions are planned, including an online lottery awarding the Original Collaboration Bowl to 100 winners and a follow-and-repost lottery awarding prizes to 10 winners.
