Matsuya Brings Back Salt-based Green Onion Pork Loin Bowl as Regular Menu Item on June 30, After About a Month and a Half
Starting at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 30, Matsuya will successively add pork loin (buta rosu) menu items to its regular lineup. The first wave brings the Salt-based Green Onion Pork Loin Bowl and Yakiniku Pork Loin Set Meal, and from 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 7, the second wave adds the Stir-fried Pork with Ginger Soy Sauce Set Meal to the regular menu. The offer covers Matsuya locations nationwide, excluding some stores.
Wave One: The ‘Salt-based Green Onion Bowl’ Returns on June 30
Launching on June 30 are the Salt-based Green Onion Pork Loin Bowl, featuring a refreshing salt-based green onion sauce, and the Yakiniku Pork Loin Set Meal, grilled to a fragrant finish. Prices (tax included) are as follows.

The Green Onion Salt Bowl first appeared on April 21 as the “Salt-based Green Onion Bowl,” made with thick-cut pork loin, before being delisted from the menu on May 19. This time’s Salt-based Green Onion Pork Loin Bowl marks its return after about a month and a half, and Matsuya’s own announcement bills it as “Salt-based Green Onion, Again.”
Wave Two: ‘Stir-fried Pork with Ginger Soy Sauce Set Meal’ Returns to the Regular Menu on July 7
The item teased in Matsuya’s announcement as “that hugely popular menu item is coming back” is the Stir-fried Pork with Ginger Soy Sauce Set Meal, going on sale at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 7. The long-awaited dish, coated in a specially made sauce, makes its comeback as a regular menu item. Prices (tax included) are as follows.

They are available at Matsuya locations nationwide, excluding some stores, and can also be ordered for takeout (miso soup is charged separately for takeout orders). From the refreshing salt-based green onion flavor to the rice-friendly yakiniku and ginger soy sauce dishes, the lineup broadens Matsuya’s pork loin-centered regular menu all at once heading into summer.
