Matsuya Launches "Taco Rice" on May 5 — Double-Sauce Summer Menu, Three Styles Starting at 580 Yen

Matsuya announced on April 30 that it will launch its new product “Taco Rice” from 10:00 AM on Tuesday, May 5, 2026.

Matsuya describes the dish as: “A refreshing, spicy flavor that stimulates the appetite for early summer. Two sauces and crisp vegetables create a taste that spreads the more you mix it.” The company says it finished the dish with a double sauce of tangy, refreshingly sour Salsa Sauce and Taco Rice Sauce, packed with the savory flavor of ground meat.

Double Sauce x Three Styles

According to Matsuya, the sharply spicy, refreshingly tangy “Salsa Sauce” and the “Taco Rice Sauce,” concentrated with the savory richness of chunky ground meat, combine with crisp fresh vegetables and cheese in a single dish.

For those seeking more volume, Matsuya offers the “Sausage & Egg Taco Rice,” topped with Sausage & Egg, and the “Hamburg Steak with Taco Salsa Set Meal,” served as a full set meal. The Hamburg Steak with Taco Salsa is also available on its own for 790 yen. The lineup lets customers choose the spicy menu either as a set meal or as a standalone bowl.
