Beef plate items will drop by 80 yen, Beef Curry & Rice DELI by 70 yen, and yakiniku and hamburg steak items by 140 yen. This matches the content of an announcement published on the official website two days earlier, on October 21, titled “Whether It’s the Main Event or One More Dish, Matsuya Supports Your Everyday Table — MATSUYA DELI Simultaneous Price Cut,” making this X post a re-announcement four days ahead of implementation.

All six yakiniku and hamburg steak items see a 140 yen cut, the largest reduction of the group. The six beef plate items span a price range of 370 to 600 yen, but the cut is a uniform 80 yen across all of them. The price cuts apply at Matsuya locations nationwide, with some stores excluded; at locations co-located with My Curry Shokudo, Beef Curry & Rice DELI is not offered.

A Price Revision 56 Days After Launch

MATSUYA DELI is a takeout prepared-foods series that launched nationwide with all 13 items at 10 AM on September 1, 2026, following an early sale at select stores starting July 7. This price cut comes just 56 days after the nationwide launch. This is the first time Matsuya has announced a price cut on its products in roughly 14 and a half years, since the list-price reductions for the Yakiniku Pork Set Meal and Stir-fried Pork with Ginger Soy Sauce Set Meal in March 2012 — in the years since, price revisions (increases) have repeatedly occurred starting in 2022. Note that this is a separate announcement from the price revision for beef bowl items and others (a uniform 20 yen increase across all sizes) implemented at 3 PM on October 13, and the affected products do not overlap.
