Matsuya's Official X Reannounces All 12 ONE PIECE Name Charm Designs
Matsuya’s official X account (@matsuya_foods) reannounced at 11:00 a.m. on August 22 that customers who order from the Kids’ Menu can receive one of the Original Name Charms (12 designs total) from the ONE PIECE TV anime collaboration, chosen at random. This perk is part of the second-wave campaign that began on August 18, and the same post had already appeared the day before, on August 21.
What the Post Says About the Second-Wave Perk
According to the post, the perk applies to Kids’ Menu orders, and customers are handed one of 12 Original Name Charm designs at random. Per the official announcement dated August 14, the eligible items are the two dishes Matsuya Kids’ Beef Bowl Waku Waku Set and Matsuya Kids’ Curry and Rice Waku Waku Set, and distribution runs from 10:00 a.m. on August 18 through 9:59 a.m. on October 6, while supplies last.
The image attached to the post shows a round charm featuring Brook, the musician of the Straw Hat Pirates, being held over a Kids’ Menu tray. The charm bears the text “BROOK” and is one of the 12 designs in the set (© Eiichiro Oda / Shueisha, Fuji TV, Toei Animation).
Switch From the First-Wave Stickers
The Original Name Charms replace the sticker sheet (12 designs total) that was given out during the first wave, with the switch taking effect on August 18 when the second wave began. This changeover had been announced in advance on the official X account on August 14. The collaboration as a whole runs from June 30 through October 6, and applies to Beef Bowl, Curry and Rice, Set Meal, and other Bowl orders at Matsuya stores nationwide, including co-located stores.
Separately, as part of the same collaboration, customers who order the Giant Serving Set or the ONE PIECE Set have also been receiving an Original Acrylic Block Chopstick Rest (12 designs total) since June 30, running in parallel and while supplies last. This is a separate perk from the Kids’ Menu charms.
The Post’s Wording
The post opens with two lines: “A fun mealtime full of smiles has arrived!” and “Whether at home or in the store, let’s liven things up with a Matsuya feast!” This wording doesn’t appear in the official announcement dated August 14, and was written fresh for the X post.
The sentence that follows is the core message conveying the perk.
Order from the Kids’ Menu now and get an Original Name Charm (12 designs total) at random!
This is a shortened, conversational version of a passage in the same announcement: “We will give away one Matsuya x ONE PIECE TV anime collaboration exclusive ‘Original Name Charm’ (12 total designs) at random.”
The post ends with the hashtags “#Matsuya #ONEPIECE.” Among the 33 posts mentioning the Kids’ Menu since April 3, this is the only one with hashtags at the end. The series also includes 15 posts that use emoji to represent the perk, but no emoji appears in this post.
Editor's Note
With all 12 designs handed out at random, landing your favorite character is no easy feat. Brook fans might want to start ordering now while they can.
