Matsuya's July 29 Meat Day Campaign: Stir-fried with Ginger Soy Sauce and Twice-cooked Pork Large-Serving Set Meals Get Their First-Ever 200 Yen Discount

On Wednesday, July 29, 2026, Matsuya will hold its regular monthly “Matsuya Meat Day Campaign.” Limited to orders placed through the Matsuya Foods official app — Matsuben Net or Matsuya Mobile Order — the Large Serving of eligible set meals will be discounted a flat 200 yen off the regular price. This time the lineup expands to six items in total, and what stands out is the addition of the Stir-fried with Ginger Soy Sauce Set Meal and the Twice-cooked Pork Set Meal, both of which only appeared on the menu this July.

Six Large-Serving Set Meals Eligible, All 200 Yen Off

The discount applies to the Large Serving of each set meal, cutting a flat 200 yen off the regular price. The eligible items and prices are as follows.

This Month’s Highlight: Stir-fried with Ginger Soy Sauce and Twice-cooked Pork Set Meals Join the Discount for the First Time

The Meat Day Campaign has traditionally discounted yakiniku set meals such as the Beef Yakiniku, Boneless Short Rib Yakiniku, and Pork Loin Yakiniku series, along with Hamburg Steak set meals like the Umatoma Hamburg Steak Set Meal. This is the first time a Japanese-style or Chinese-style set meal outside the yakiniku and hamburg steak categories has been added to the lineup. The official announcement puts the two newcomers front and center, noting that “this month, the Stir-fried with Ginger Soy Sauce Set Meal and the Twice-cooked Pork Set Meal are also included.”

What’s more, both newly added items only appeared on the menu this July. The Stir-fried with Ginger Soy Sauce Set Meal was just reinstated as a regular menu item on July 7, and the Twice-cooked Pork Set Meal launched nationwide on July 14 — meaning both have been added to the discount lineup less than a month after their debut.

The eligible lineup is reviewed every month. Recently, April and May of this year featured around three yakiniku items, while June saw the Triple Serving of the Umatoma Hamburg Steak Set Meal make its first appearance. This time, the three yakiniku Large-Serving set meals are joined by three more — the Stir-fried with Ginger Soy Sauce and the two Twice-cooked Pork set meals — bringing the total to six.

Beef Yakiniku and Boneless Short Rib Yakiniku Large Servings Now Match the Price of Regular Hamburg Steak Set Meals

Looking at the discounted prices, both the Beef Yakiniku Set Meal and the Boneless Short Rib Yakiniku Set Meal (Large Serving) come to 1,180 yen — the same price bracket as the regular-size Umatoma Hamburg Steak Set Meal, Yatara Japanese-style Hamburg Steak Set Meal, and Brown Sauce Hamburg Steak Set Meal (each 1,180 yen). In other words, the hearty Large Serving set meals can be had for the same price as a single regular-size Hamburg Steak Set Meal.

Meanwhile, the Pork Loin Yakiniku Set Meal (Large Serving, 1,080 yen), the Stir-fried with Ginger Soy Sauce Set Meal (Large Serving, 1,140 yen), and the two Twice-cooked Pork Set Meals (Large Serving, each 1,170 yen) fall into price brackets with no matching regular-size set meal, making them pricing unique to this one day.

App Orders Only — Ticket Vending Machines and Tablets Not Eligible

The discount comes with conditions. It applies only to orders placed through the Matsuya Foods official app, via Matsuben Net or Matsuya Mobile Order; purchases made at ticket vending machines or tablets are not eligible. Matsuben Delivery is also excluded. The discount can be used for both dine-in and takeout (takeout orders do not include miso soup).

The campaign runs for one day only, from 0:00 to 23:59 on Wednesday, July 29, 2026. It is available at Matsuya locations nationwide, with some exceptions: the Haneda Innovation City location, the Narita Airport Terminal 3 location, and locations inside highway parking areas are excluded. Prices may differ at some locations.
