On Wednesday, July 29, 2026, Matsuya will hold its monthly “Matsuya Meat Day Campaign.” For orders placed exclusively through the Matsuya Foods official app’s “Matsuben Net” and “Matsuya Mobile Order,” the Large Serving of eligible set meals is a flat 200 yen off the regular price. This time the lineup has grown to six items in total, and the standout is the addition of the Stir-fried Pork with Ginger Soy Sauce Set Meal and the Twice-cooked Pork Set Meal, both of which only appeared in July.

Six Large Serving Set Meals, All 200 Yen Off

The discount applies to the Large Serving of each set meal, at a flat 200 yen off the regular price. The eligible items and prices are as follows.

This Month’s Highlight: Ginger Pork and Twice-Cooked Pork Are Eligible for the First Time

The items discounted each month in the Meat Day Campaign have mainly been yakiniku set meals such as Yakiniku Beef, Yakiniku Boneless Short Rib, and Pork Loin, along with Hamburg steak items like the Umatoma Hamburg Steak Set Meal. This is the first time Japanese-style and Chinese-style set meals other than yakiniku and Hamburg steak have been added to the eligible items. The official announcement also puts the two newcomers front and center, saying “This month, the Stir-fried Pork with Ginger Soy Sauce Set Meal and Twice-cooked Pork Set Meal are also eligible.”

Moreover, both of the newly added items only appeared in July. The Stir-fried Pork with Ginger Soy Sauce Set Meal returned as a classic menu item on July 7, and the Twice-cooked Pork Set Meal was released nationwide on July 14. Both have been incorporated into the discount in less than a month after their debut.

The lineup of eligible items is reviewed every month. Most recently, April and May each had around three yakiniku items, and June featured the debut of the Triple Serving of the Umatoma Hamburg Steak Set Meal. This time, three Large Serving yakiniku set meals are joined by three ginger pork and twice-cooked pork items, expanding the lineup to six in total.

Large Serving Yakiniku Beef and Boneless Short Rib Match the Regular Hamburg Steak Set Meal Price

Looking at the discounted prices, the Large Serving Yakiniku Beef Set Meal and the Large Serving Yakiniku Boneless Short Rib Set Meal both come to 1,180 yen, putting them in the same price range as the regular-size “Umatoma Hamburg Steak Set Meal,” “Yatara Japanese-style Hamburg Steak Set Meal,” and “Hamburg Steak with Brown Sauce Set Meal” (1,180 yen each). That means you can get a hearty Large Serving set meal for the same price as a standard Hamburg steak set meal.

On the other hand, the Large Serving Yakiniku Pork Loin Set Meal (1,080 yen), the Large Serving Stir-fried Pork with Ginger Soy Sauce Set Meal (1,140 yen), and the two Large Serving Twice-cooked Pork set meals (1,170 yen each) fall in price ranges where no regular-size set meal matches, making these prices unique to the day.

App-Only: Ticket Vending Machines and Tablets Not Eligible

The discount comes with conditions. It applies only to orders placed through the Matsuya Foods official app’s “Matsuben Net” and “Matsuya Mobile Order”; purchases at ticket vending machines or tablets are not eligible. “Matsuben Delivery” is also excluded. It can be used for both dine-in and takeout (miso soup is not included with takeout orders).

The eligible period is one day only, from 0:00 to 23:59 on Wednesday, July 29, 2026. Eligible stores are all Matsuya locations nationwide except for some stores; Haneda Innovation City Store, Narita Airport Terminal 3 Store, and expressway parking area stores are excluded. Selling prices may differ at some stores.
