Matsuya’s Futamatase store (0702) will temporarily close at 3:00 PM on July 23, 2026. The 24-hour store, located in Futamatase, Higashi Ward, Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture, is scheduled to reopen at 10:00 AM on August 7. The store will suspend operations for approximately two weeks.

On the store list, a notice has been added to the Futamatase store’s name reading, “*Temporarily closed from 3:00 PM on July 23, reopening at 10:00 AM on August 7.” The temporary closure begins at 3:00 PM on July 23, and the store will reopen at 10:00 AM on August 7. Rather than suspending just part of its operating hours, the store itself will be off the map for about two weeks.

The Futamatase store is a 24-hour Matsuya located at 15-10 Futamatase, Higashi Ward, Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture. During the temporary closure, the Futamatase store will be the one store out of Matsuya’s 31 locations in Fukuoka Prefecture to suspend operations, with the remaining 30 stores continuing to operate as usual.

Temporary Closures on the Same Schedule Across the Country

Looking at the store list, July has seen a string of temporary closures and reopenings scheduled at Matsuya locations across the country. The exact same schedule as the Futamatase store — closing at 3:00 PM on July 23 and reopening at 10:00 AM on August 7 — is also set for the Asakusabashi Minami store in Tokyo. Elsewhere, the Oyama store in Tokyo is scheduled to reopen on July 16, and the Sone store in Osaka on July 15, with multiple stores continuing this pattern of suspension and reopening since early summer. The Futamatase store appears to be part of this same trend.
