Matsuya Foods is running “Matsuya 60th Anniversary Campaign Part 2” from 10:00 AM on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, through 11:59 PM on Wednesday, July 15, targeting orders placed via the official Matsuya Foods app and paid for with Rakuten Pay. Customers who pre-pay 800 yen or more (tax included) via Rakuten Pay on Matsuben Net, Matsuya Mobile Order, or Matsuben Delivery will receive up to 15% back in Rakuten Points, according to an official announcement dated June 24. The campaign also highlights that customers earn Matsuya Points on every order as usual, meaning points accrue from both programs at once.

Campaign Overview

The campaign is limited to advance orders placed through the official Matsuya Foods app; orders placed at in-store ticket vending machines or self-checkout registers are not eligible. Entry is required, and the point cap is 10,000 points during the campaign period. Eligibility is determined by the order date and time.

The Most Cost-Effective Way to Order, and Estimated Point Returns

To qualify for the reward, a single order must total 800 yen or more, tax included. Here’s an estimate of the points earned at the maximum 15% return rate.

Order Amount (tax included) Rakuten Points at Maximum 15% Return
800 yen 120 points
1,000 yen 150 points
1,180 yen (Fluffy Egg Grilled Eel Bowl) 177 points

Reaching the 10,000-point cap would require roughly 66,667 yen in total eligible payments during the campaign period. Since Matsuya Points are also awarded separately, the more app orders a customer consolidates and pays for via Rakuten Pay, the less they leave on the table.

Eligible Stores

Eligible stores include Matsuya, Matsunoya, My Curry Shokudo, Sushimatsu, Shoken Chinese Dining, Matsutaro, Steak-ya Matsu, Steak Set Meal & Bowl Matsugyu, Mugi no Toriko, and Tukkun² locations nationwide. However, stores located inside parking areas and similar locations are excluded.

Channel Split with the June Part 1 Campaign

Part 1, which carried the same “Matsuya 60th Anniversary” branding, ran as a Rakuten Pay Stamp Rally from Monday, June 1, through Tuesday, June 30. Part 1 targeted orders of 500 yen or more placed at ticket vending machines or self-checkout registers, and explicitly excluded app orders via Matsuben Net, Matsuya Mobile Order, and Matsuben Delivery (offering up to 10% back based on stamp count, with a 2,000-point cap).

This Part 2 campaign now covers exactly the app orders that Part 1 excluded, meaning the two-part structure has effectively covered both in-store and app ordering channels. The return rate has been raised from Part 1’s maximum of 10% to 15%, and the point cap has increased from 2,000 to 10,000 points — making the app-order campaign the more generous of the two.

Part 1 was for in-store orders, Part 2 is for app orders. Either way, paying with Rakuten Pay means you won't miss out on points.
