At 10:00 a.m. on July 19, Matsuya once again introduced the “Original Sticker Sheet,” a collaboration bonus with the TV anime ONE PIECE for the Kids’ Menu, on its official X account. The post read, “Gather around your takeout Kids’ Menu and enjoy a wonderful meal together with Sanji and the crew!” and included a photo of the backing card featuring Sanji, the cook of the Straw Hat Pirates.

The Sanji-Design Backing Card and Two Kids’ Set Items

The photo shows what appear to be two items side by side: the “Matsuya Kids’ Curry and Rice Waku Waku Set” and the “Matsuya Kids’ Beef Bowl Waku Waku Set.” Both come with a single sausage on top of the rice, colorful orange and yellow jelly, and a small side dish that looks like potato salad. The backing card held up in front reads “MATSUYA × ONE PIECE ORIGINAL STICKER,” alongside a full-body sticker of Sanji standing in a suit, a close-up face sticker featuring his signature curled eyebrow, and a chef’s hat sticker combining a fork, a spatula, and a skull. Perhaps fitting for Sanji the cook, a row of small icon stickers themed around cooking utensils and food is also included. A corner of the backing card notes “NOT FOR SALE,” indicating the item is not for retail sale.

The stickers are distributed randomly from a set of 12 designs, and apply to two items: the “Matsuya Kids’ Beef Bowl Waku Waku Set” and the “Matsuya Kids’ Curry and Rice Waku Waku Set.” One sticker is included per item ordered.

Repeated Promotion with Rotating Characters

This marks the fifth time the Kids’ Menu stickers have been featured on the official X account. Starting with an advance announcement on June 27, the feature continued on July 10, July 11, and July 12, with this being the latest post. The featured character has recently been rotating with each post: Luffy on July 11, Brook on July 12, and now Sanji this time, all while promoting the same bonus item.

For adults, there’s also a bonus in which ordering one “Giant Serving Set” or “ONE PIECE Set” comes with an Original Acrylic Block Chopstick Rest, and posts promoting this offer have been interspersed with those aimed at the Kids’ Menu.

First-Round Stickers Available Through August 18, Then Switching to Name Charms

This sticker distribution is the first-round bonus of the Matsuya × TV anime ONE PIECE collaboration campaign. The distribution period runs from 10:00 a.m. on June 30 through 9:59 a.m. on August 18 (ending at each store once supplies run out), leaving about a month remaining as of July 19. From 10:00 a.m. on August 18 onward, the campaign is scheduled to switch to the second-round bonus, the “Original Name Charm” (12 designs in total).

The overall collaboration campaign runs from June 30 through 9:59 a.m. on October 6. It draws on the anime’s “Elbaf Arc,” which began airing on April 5 and depicts the Straw Hat Pirates arriving at the giant island of Elbaf. The phrase “together with Sanji and the crew” in this post also echoes that context, evoking the gathering of the crew in the Elbaf Arc.

Editor's Note

True to Sanji's role as a chef, the backing card also features fork and chef's hat designs. Paired with the sausage from the Kids' Curry and Rice, it's a photo that oddly gets the appetite going.
