Matsuya Grants 50 Points on Kids' Waku Waku Set, Effective Price Drops to 350 Yen
Matsuya is running the “Kids’ Waku Waku Set Point Boost Campaign” exclusively through the Matsuya App, from midnight on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 to 9:59 a.m. on Tuesday, August 18. During the campaign, ordering the eligible Kids’ Beef Bowl Waku Waku Set or Kids’ Curry and Rice Waku Waku Set through Matsuben Net or Matsuya Mobile Order earns 50 Matsuya Points. Both sets drop from their regular 450 yen to 400 yen through an automatically applied in-app coupon during the campaign, and combined with the 50 points earned (worth 50 yen), the effective price works out to about 350 yen.
Two Eligible Sets: Beef Bowl and Curry and Rice
The two eligible items are listed below. Both come with original merchandise, and share the same price and points awarded.
| Item | Regular Price | After Coupon | Points Awarded |
|---|---|---|---|
| Kids’ Beef Bowl Waku Waku Set | 450 yen | 400 yen | 50 points |
| Kids’ Curry and Rice Waku Waku Set | 450 yen | 400 yen | 50 points |
The Kids’ Beef Bowl Waku Waku Set consists of rice topped with Beef Bowl filling, a small pot holding sausage and Potato Salad, a Morinaga Mammy (a lactic acid bacteria drink), and jelly. The tray comes with an originally designed spoon and fork.
The Kids’ Curry and Rice Waku Waku Set has the same components, except the rice is topped with curry instead of Beef Bowl filling.
The post-coupon price of 400 yen matches that of the morning-only Tokuasa Simmered Beef & Onion Set Meal. Even the regular price of 450 yen sits just 10 yen below Matsuya’s signature Regular Serving Beef Bowl at 460 yen, making these two items the highest-priced entries in the Kids’ Menu lineup.
Available Through Matsuben Net and Matsuya Mobile Order
Points are only awarded for orders placed through Matsuben Net or Matsuya Mobile Order within the Matsuya App. Matsuben Delivery is not eligible. Eligibility is based on the pickup date and time, and the 50 points awarded are excluded from bonus point multiplier boosts.
Eligible stores are all Matsuya locations nationwide, excluding the Haneda Innovation City store, the Narita Airport Terminal 3 store, and stores inside highway parking areas. The offer is limited to items sold at the store being used, and it may be unavailable if stock runs out.
Since both items share the same price and points awarded, the best way to buy is to order whichever one you want through Matsuben Net or Matsuya Mobile Order in the app, with pickup scheduled within the campaign period.
Point and Collaboration Promotions Continue Without a Break
The day before this campaign, the “Matsuben Net Gogotoku Point Boost Campaign” ended at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, July 20, and this campaign begins right after midnight on the 21st, meaning app-based point promotions continue back-to-back without a gap. That same July 21 also saw the takeout-only Grilled Eel Bowl Bento Set go on sale, with a separate promotion launching on the same day.
A point promotion covering the same Kids’ Waku Waku Set was also run on April 25, 2026, billed as an “effective 100-yen saving,” using the same structure of awarding points via the app for eligible items. Looking back at past announcements, an earlier round awarded 100 points for the “Kids’ Waku Waku Set Bento,” but ever since the eligible item became the “Kids’ Waku Waku Set,” the award has consistently been 50 points.
The campaign’s scheduled end time of 9:59 a.m. on Tuesday, August 18, coincides with the end of distribution for the first round of the ONE PIECE collaboration sticker sheets (12 designs total) currently included with the Kids’ Menu. Sticker distribution is set to switch to the second round, the Original Name Charm, starting at 10:00 a.m. that same day, lining up a milestone in the collaboration perks with the deadline of the point promotion. Timed to the summer vacation period, a series of promotions around the Kids’ Menu are rolling out back-to-back.
