Matsuya's Store-Limited "Vanilla Shake" Now Available at 70 Stores

The number of stores carrying Matsuya’s store-limited “Vanilla Shake” has grown by 8, from 62 to 70 stores as of August 18, it has been learned. No stores have dropped the item, making this a net increase of 8 stores.

Eight New Stores Added, Centered on Fukushima and Saitama

The 8 newly added stores break down as 3 in Fukushima Prefecture, 3 in Saitama Prefecture, and 1 each in Nagano and Gunma prefectures. None of these are newly opened stores; all are existing locations, so the lineup of prefectures carrying the item hasn’t changed — the increase comes from more stores within prefectures that already carried it. Among these, two stores — Matsuya Sukagawa Store (2038) and Matsuya Sakado Nissai Store (2085) — are co-located with Matsunoya. The newly added stores are shown in bold in the full list below.

The Only Change Is the Number of Stores

The only thing that has changed this time is the number of stores carrying the item — the menu name, price, sales hours, and featured image remain unchanged. Only the pool of participating stores has expanded.

The “Vanilla Shake” Is Sold from 5:00 AM to Midnight, in Three Varieties

The “Vanilla Shake” is a store-limited menu item that has been on sale since 10:00 AM on April 21, 2026. Its name and featured image switched to their current form on July 14 and have remained unchanged since. It is sold from 5:00 AM to midnight, accompanied by the tagline “Sweet Matsuya, Unleashed.”

The lineup consists of three items: the plain “Vanilla Shake” (S: 180 yen / M: 240 yen), the “Vanilla Shake & Strawberry” (S: 290 yen / M: 350 yen) topped with strawberry sauce, and the “Vanilla Shake & Choco Cocoa Cookie” (S: 320 yen / M: 380 yen) topped with chocolate sauce and cocoa cookies. All three cups feature the “MATSU Sweets” logo.

On the official site, the number of stores carrying this store-limited shake has been increased in stages. It stood at 5 stores in late April, grew to 12 in early June, 30 in early July, 50 on July 14 when the name switched to its current form, 62 on August 4, and now 70 as of today, August 18. Over roughly four months, the number of participating stores has grown from around 5 to 70.
