Matsuya Reopens Two Stores, Including Tama New Town, Today After Temporary Closure

StoreUpdated

Matsuya Tama New Town (0082) and Matsuya Shin-Kemigawa (0408), both temporarily closed since 3:00 PM on June 8, resumed business as scheduled at 10:00 AM on June 23, 2026. The “※Temporarily closed from 3:00 PM on June 8, reopening at 10:00 AM on June 23” notice attached to both store names has been removed, and the closing and opening dates from the suspension period are no longer shown, with both stores now displayed as operating normally.

Two Stores Reopen After Temporary Closure

Store Location Temporary Closure Period Business Hours
Matsuya Tama New Town 33-3 Matsuki, Hachioji, Tokyo June 8, 3:00 PM – June 23, 10:00 AM 24-hour operation
Matsuya Shin-Kemigawa Asahi Building Shin-Kemigawa 1F, 2-1-6 Minamihanazono, Hanamigawa Ward, Chiba City, Chiba June 8, 3:00 PM – June 23, 10:00 AM 24-hour operation

Both stores are Matsunoya co-located locations that had suspended operations for about 15 days. With that period now over, the temporary closure notice has disappeared from both store names, confirming that they have reopened for business.

Reopening After Two Weeks, Still Co-Located with Matsunoya

The “Matsunoya co-located” designation had been attached to both store names even before the temporary closure, and that co-located setup has been maintained through this suspension. Both stores operate 24 hours a day, and after roughly two weeks offline, they are once again available around the clock, including late at night and early morning. Two stores located far apart — Tama New Town in Hachioji and Shin-Kemigawa in Chiba City — closed and reopened on the exact same schedule, from 3:00 PM on June 8 to 10:00 AM on June 23.

Editor's Note

After a break of just over two weeks, the Matsuya stores in Tama and Shin-Kemigawa reopened for business this morning. Beef Bowl is back around the clock.
