At 10:23 AM on May 12, the menu data on Matsuya’s official site renamed the “Lunch” category to “Beef Bowl Lunch” and added a new “Curry Lunch” category. This new category for curry-based lunch sets was created in response to the Batachiki and Cream Butter launch (10:00 AM today).

On May 9, Matsuya’s official X account teased an upcoming pork miso soup product with a redacted name, posting “Also look forward to ○○○, coming in late June….” This price cut on the Choice of Side version of the miso soup can likewise be seen as part of the broader run of pork miso soup-related developments.

The Lunch category is now split into two: Beef Bowl and Curry. The Miso Soup with Pork & Vegetables Only side got a 20-yen price cut. It looks like Matsuya prepared a Curry Lunch slot ahead of the Batachiki launch.
