Matsuya Releases Three Thick-Cut Items Including 'Set Meal of Grilled Thick Pork with Chimichurri Sauce' Today at 10:00

Four new items releasing today, May 19, at 10:00, have been added as limited-time items to the menu data on Matsuya’s official site. At the same time, two items have been removed from the current menu, in what looks like a large-scale reorganization of the Set Meal category.

The “Double Set Meal” variants announced in the official notice dated May 14 (Chimichurri: 2,130 yen, Pork Steak: 2,030 yen, Grilled Pork Loin: 1,730 yen) have also been registered simultaneously as Double variations for each of today’s added items.

The Chimichurri Sauce lineup consists of two items: the “Set Meal” (1,280 yen, comes with salad) and the “standalone form” (1,180 yen, roughly equivalent to the set meal without salad).

The “Set Meal of Grilled Pork Loin” (880 yen) is being handed off to the newly added “Set Meal of Grilled Thick Pork Loin” (980 yen) today — a rebrand accompanied by a 100 yen price increase. The product name has gained the new “Thick” qualifier, and the official notice described it as “thick-cut pork with a boosted volume.”

The “Tokuasa Seasoned Ground Chicken & Egg Bowl” removal follows the removal of the regular version, “Seasoned Ground Chicken & Egg Bowl,” at 9:24 today on the morning menu side.

As of 10:11 on June 2, the Set Meal of Thick Pork Steak and Set Meal of Grilled Thick Pork Loin Move Out of the Limited-Time Lineup

In today’s menu update as of 10:11 on June 2, two of the four items added as limited-time offerings on May 19 — the Set Meal of Thick Pork Steak and the Set Meal of Grilled Thick Pork Loin — moved out of the limited-time lineup and were reclassified as regular menu items. The other two, the Set Meal of Grilled Thick Pork with Chimichurri Sauce and the Grilled Thick Pork with Chimichurri Sauce (without salad), remain listed as limited-time items.
