From Saturday, August 1 through Monday, August 31, 2026, Matsuya Foods will distribute the “Summer Vacation Coupon,” which returns PayPay Points to customers who place orders through the Matsuya App and other channels and pay in advance with PayPay. Customers get up to 10% back on a single payment of 800 yen (tax included) or more, and up to 15% back on 1,200 yen (tax included) or more. Both are capped at 200 points, and the coupon can be used any number of times during the period. To take part, you must first obtain the coupon in the PayPay app, then place your order through the official Matsuya Foods app or the Matsuben Net Mini App.

Eligible: App and Online Orders with Advance Payment, Not In-Store Payment

Payments at in-store ticket vending machines and registers are not eligible for this coupon. It applies only to orders placed through Matsuben Net, Matsuya Mobile Order, Matsuben Delivery or the Matsuben Net Mini App and paid in advance with PayPay. The conditions for the 10% and 15% coupons are as follows.

The 10% and 15% coupons must be obtained separately. If you have both and pay 1,200 yen or more, only the 15% coupon, which gives the higher payout, is applied.

To Hit the Full 200 Points, Order Around 1,334 Yen

With point-back campaigns, understanding how the cap is designed makes it easier to get your money’s worth. Here, both coupons are capped at “200 points per order.”

• The 10% coupon gives 80 points on an 800 yen payment. Exactly 10% of the payment comes back, and you reach the 200-point cap at a payment of 2,000 yen.
• The 15% coupon gives 180 points on a 1,200 yen payment. You reach the 200-point cap at a payment of about 1,334 yen, and paying more than that still tops out at 200 points.

In other words, for any order over 1,200 yen, the 15% coupon always returns more than the 10% coupon. To collect the full 200 points with the least waste, build an order of around 1,334 yen with the 15% coupon. Because the cap applies per order and the coupon can be used any number of times during the period, splitting your spending into several orders of around 1,334 yen yields more total points than combining everything into one big order.

Using menu prices as a guide, the flagship Beef Bowl in a Regular Serving (460 yen) doesn’t even reach the 800 yen line on its own, but three bowls come to 1,380 yen and clear the 15% line. Among set meals, the Umatoma Hamburg Steak Set Meal, the Yatara Japanese-style Hamburg Steak Set Meal and the Hamburg Steak with Brown Sauce Set Meal are all priced at 1,180 yen, just 20 yen short of the 15% line. The Hamburg Steak with Brown Sauce and Sunny-side Up Set Meal (1,280 yen) clears the 15% line on its own.

Applies to 10 Matsuya Group Brands; Parking Area Stores Excluded

The coupon applies at Matsuya, Matsunoya, My Curry Shokudo, Sushimatsu, Shoken Chinese Dining, Matsutaro, Steak-ya Matsu, Steak Set Meal & Bowl Matsugyu, Mugi no Toriko and Tukkun² stores nationwide. However, some stores, including those inside parking areas, are excluded. As noted above, a reward is given only when both an eligible ordering channel such as Matsuben Net and advance payment with PayPay are met.

Comparison with Past PayPay Coupons

The framework of “great-value PayPay coupons you can use on the Matsuya App” began in November 2025 with the commemoration of reaching 5 million members, and has continued in December, February 2026, April and May as a regular campaign. This round is the latest in that line. Past rounds were mostly tied to milestones such as membership targets and the 60th founding anniversary, but this one is different in that it carries a seasonal theme, “summer vacation.”

Most recently, a separate PayPay coupon offering up to 10% back, exclusively for SoftBank users, has been distributed since July 1 (through July 31). The Summer Vacation Coupon is a separate campaign with different eligibility conditions, and since it starts on August 1, it kicks off just as the SoftBank-only coupon ends at the end of July.

In terms of payout rates, this campaign has no special limited-time tier like the 60th founding anniversary round announced at the end of May, which jumped to up to 40% (capped at 350 points) for just two days, June 15–16. The maximum stays at 15% and 200 points, but the 15% tier for payments of 1,200 yen or more remains available all through August.
