Matsuya Sends 4th 'Matsuben Net Double Points' Reminder — This Time With '3 Days Left'

On August 29, the Matsuya App sent a push notification announcing the campaign that doubles points earned through the takeout reservation service Matsuben Net (running through August 31). This marks the fourth reminder notification for the campaign, and with the deadline now just three days away, “【3 Days Left】” was added to the front of the subject line for the first time.

The Same Wording for Three Rounds — One Change on the Fourth

This notification’s subject line reads “【3 Days Left】Points “Doubled”‼️ Takeout Reservation “Matsuben Net”⭐️Through 8/31🎉”, and the body reads “Even side dishes alone are a great deal🦋 A campaign where points pile up fast🎇”

Reminder notifications for this campaign were also sent on August 11, 15, and 22, and in every case the subject and body were exactly the same text as this time. The only difference is the “【3 Days Left】” tag added at the start of this notification’s subject line — the body text hasn’t changed by a single character across all four sends. That means the same wording has been arriving roughly once a week since August 11.

The body line “Even side dishes alone are a great deal🦋 A campaign where points pile up fast🎇” doesn’t appear anywhere in the corresponding official website notice (published August 10, “Matsuya App ‘Matsuben Net Double Point Campaign’ Begins!”, headlined “Takeout Gets a Deal on the Matsuya App! Double Points for Matsuben Net Reservation Orders!”). The notice itself is taken up with practical details — the eligible period, participating stores, and how to use the points — and doesn’t use words like “side dishes” or “pile up.” The wording appears to have been written specifically for the push notification.

The Notification Wording Is Reused From May’s Same Campaign

This isn’t the first time this subject-and-body combination has appeared. Three months earlier, on May 1, the notification announcing a campaign of the same name, “Matsuben Net Double Point Campaign” (running through May 17 at the time), used the exact same wording. Only the deadline at the end was swapped to “Through 8/31” — everything else is reused word for word.

‘3 Days Left’ Is the Standard Deadline-Approaching Phrase

Adding “【3 Days Left】” to the front of the subject line as a deadline approaches is a format the Matsuya App’s notifications have used repeatedly. In July too, notifications tagged “【3 Days Left】” went out three days before the end of both a point-boost promotion for eligible bowl dishes and a deal for evening orders. In every case the number used is “3 days” — no other day count has been found.

A Recurring Promotion, Running Longer Than Last Summer’s

Campaigns in the “Matsuben Net Double Points” family are a recurring fixture that has run repeatedly since 2025, taking on a different look each season. Looking back at past notices, this round (21 days, August 11 through August 31) is four days longer than the previous, identically-named May run (17 days, May 1 through May 17). It’s also five days longer than last summer’s version, which carried the “Matsuben Summer Festival” name (16 days, August 9 through 24, 2025) — and this time around, the summer branding has been dropped.

Other Deals Also Ending August 31

August 31, when Matsuben Net’s double points ends, is also the deadline for other deals around the Matsuya App. The “Matsuben Debut Campaign,” which grants 300 points on a first order to members who have never used Matsuben Net, and the “Summer Vacation PayPay Coupon,” which gives back up to 10% on orders of 800 yen or more (tax included) and up to 15% (capped at 200 points) on orders of 1,200 yen or more, both also run through August 31. For Matsuben Net users, these next three days mark a shared deadline for all of them.

Editor's Note

After three straight copy-pasted notifications, the wording finally got a single-phrase makeover three days before the deadline. Matsuben Net regulars should get their order in by the 31st.
