Matsuya to Hold Double Point Campaign Making Matsuben Net Orders Worth Up to 30% in Points, Starting Aug 11
Matsuya Foods announced on August 10 that it will run the “Matsuben Net Double Point Campaign,” under which Matsuya Points are doubled on orders placed through the takeout reservation site Matsuben Net, from 0:00 on Tuesday, August 11 through 23:59 on Monday, August 31. The campaign narrows the extra point rebate to advance-reservation takeout orders, and any order received during the period qualifies for double points.
Matsuben Net Only — Matsuya Mobile Order and Matsuben Delivery Not Eligible
Double points apply only to orders placed through Matsuben Net, the web-based takeout reservation service. Matsuya Mobile Order, used for dine-in or takeout confirmed in-store, and Matsuben Delivery are explicitly excluded.
Note that eligibility for the campaign is based on the pickup date and time, not the order date — whether an order falls within the period is determined by when the food is picked up. Orders picked up through August 31 are eligible for double points.
Rebate Rates by Rank: Top-Tier Diamond Members Effectively Get 30%
Matsuya Points can be used toward future payments at a rate of 1 point = 1 yen. The rebate rate on Matsuben Net varies by membership rank, normally ranging from 6% for Bronze up to 15% for Diamond. Rank is determined by the total amount purchased in the previous month: members start at Bronze, then move up to Silver (spending of 1,500 yen or more), Gold (3,000 yen or more), Platinum (4,500 yen or more), and Diamond (10,000 yen or more).
These rates are doubled for the duration of the campaign. The value by rank breaks down as follows.
| Membership Rank | Normal Rebate Rate (Matsuben Net) | During the Double Point Campaign |
|---|---|---|
| Bronze (first-time) | 6% | 12% |
| Silver | 10% | 20% |
| Gold | 11% | 22% |
| Platinum | 12% | 24% |
| Diamond | 15% | 30% |
Even first-time Matsuben Net users get a 6% rebate, which reaches the equivalent of 12% during the campaign. For top-tier Diamond members, the normal 15% doubles to the equivalent of 30%, meaning a 1,000 yen order returns 300 points (worth 300 yen). Note that the Matsuya Mobile Order rebate rate shown on the same screen (1–7%) is not covered by this campaign.
Matsuben Net Is a Web-Reservation Takeout Site
Matsuben Net is a dedicated takeout site where customers order online in advance and pick up at the store. Because orders are reserved ahead of time, there’s zero wait at pickup, and the site supports advance payment via PayPay, d Barai, au PAY, Merpay, Alipay, WeChat Pay, and credit cards.
How to Order from the App
Matsuben Net can be accessed from “Order” in the official Matsuya app. Here’s the actual flow.
From the app’s home screen, tap “Order” in the bottom menu.
On the order method selection screen, choose the top option, “Matsuben Net (order in advance for takeout).” Selecting Mobile Order or Delivery here takes the order out of scope for this double-point offer.
Select the store for pickup. The search shows 1,023 stores, and the list also displays distance from the current location and business hours.
Next, specify the pickup date and time. Eligibility for this campaign is determined by whether this pickup date and time falls within the campaign period.
On the menu selection screen, the “Bulk Purchase” tab lists discounted sets ranging from a 2-piece Beef Bowl à la Carte set (60 yen off) to a 5-piece set (300 yen off), all priced below the regular total. Stack the bulk-purchase discount with the double points, and you get both the price cut and the extra points at once.
Finally, confirm the store, pickup date and time, and payment method to finalize the order. Payment options include PayPay, d Barai, Rakuten Pay, and au PAY, among others.
Matsuben Net Promotions Continue Into August: Comparing with the Previous Round
A campaign of the same name doubling Matsuben Net points also ran from May 1 to 17, so this marks its return after roughly three and a half months. While the previous run lasted 17 days, this one runs slightly longer, at 21 days from August 11 to 31.
In July, double points were also offered for narrower pickup windows — Gogotoku (14:00–18:00 pickup) and Yorutoku (18:00–23:00 pickup) — but this time there’s no time-of-day restriction, making it a full version that doubles points for any pickup time during the period. In addition, the Matsuben Debut Campaign, which grants 300 points to first-time Matsuben Net users, was announced on August 1, so promotions encouraging Matsuben Net use have been rolling out back-to-back within the same month.
Separately, an au PAY campaign offering up to 15% back in Ponta Points is also underway from 15:00 on August 8 through 22:59 on August 23, overlapping with this campaign from August 11 to 23. Also starting August 11, a free service voucher giveaway commemorating Matsuya Foods’ 60th founding anniversary was posted to the official site as of August 10.

Twenty-one days where Diamond members can effectively earn back 30%. Stack it with a bulk order from the Beef Bowl à la Carte lineup, and the hit to your wallet gets noticeably smaller.
