Matsuya's Official X Account Urges Last-Minute Use of MATSUYA PASS Subscription Pass With 4 Days Left

Matsuya’s official X account (@matsuya_foods) announced on the morning of July 28 that only 4 days remain until the MATSUYA PASS subscription pass expires, asking followers whether they’ve forgotten to use it in their wallets. The July edition of the MATSUYA PASS is valid from 12:00 AM on July 1, 2026 to 11:59 PM on July 31, and the discount can be used as many times as you like during that period.

“No Turn Again Today…”: Cards in a Wallet Chat Among Themselves

What’s in the July Edition of the MATSUYA PASS

Advance sales of the July edition began at 10:00 AM on June 26. It is priced at 200 yen (tax included), valid for one month from purchase, July 1 through July 31, and can be used as many times as you like during that period. The discount is 100 yen off classic set meals and 70 yen off classic beef bowls, bowls, and curry and rice.

An Upgrade From the March Edition: 7 Brands and Matsuya App Support

The official announcement explicitly describes the July edition as a “revival” of the pass of the same name sold in March 2026. The March edition was announced on February 19 and valid from March 1 to 31, and it was limited to Matsuya, which serves beef bowls, curry and rice, and set meals.

The July edition expands this to seven brands: Matsuya, Matsunoya, My Curry Shokudo, Shoken Chinese Dining, Matsutaro, Steak-ya Matsu, and Steak Set Meal Matsugyu. It also newly supports use through the Matsuya App. The price of 200 yen, the one-month validity, and the discount amounts remain unchanged, while the stores where it can be used and the ways to use it have expanded.

Reminders Right Up to the Deadline

Throughout July, the MATSUYA PASS has been the subject of repeated countdown reminders as the deadline approached. On July 10, with 20 days left, the account urged early purchase, and on July 13 it used a smartphone-notification-style visual to warn against forgetting to use it. On July 21, with about 10 days left, it urged followers to use it up, and this “4 days left” post caps off that series of reminders. On July 24, the account itself also posted an eating report of enjoying the “Beef Bowl topped with Tomato and Cheese” for 70 yen less, showing how much the discount actually saves.

The July edition of the MATSUYA PASS can be used until 11:59 PM on July 31. Because it can be used as many times as you like during the valid period, those who haven’t yet gotten their money’s worth are being encouraged to squeeze in last-minute use.
