Matsuya Kintetsu-Yao Ekimae Store Advances Opening Time Back to 7 AM

Matsuya Kintetsu-Yao Ekimae Store (2514) has changed its business hours, moving its opening time up one hour from the previous 8 AM to 7 AM. Closing time remains at midnight, with last order 30 minutes before closing. The store information page on Matsuya’s official website now shows “7 AM to midnight, last order 30 minutes before closing.”

Opening Time Reverted in Under Two Weeks

The store’s business hours had only just been changed on July 31, when opening was pushed back from 7 AM to 8 AM and closing was simultaneously extended from 11:30 PM to midnight. This latest change reverses only the opening time back to the original 7 AM, while the extended midnight closing time remains in place. Just under two weeks after the July 31 change, only the morning opening time has swung back to an earlier hour.

The previous change, which delayed opening to 8 AM while extending closing to midnight, had shifted business hours toward the late-night side. This time, the store has pulled the morning side back to a 7 AM opening while keeping the nighttime extension in place, resulting in business hours of “7 AM to midnight” that now run wide on both the morning and night ends.

One of 111 Stores in Osaka Prefecture, Co-located with Matsunoya

Kintetsu-Yao Ekimae Store is a Matsuya location in Yao City, Osaka Prefecture, one of 111 stores currently operating in Osaka Prefecture (the third-most in the country, after Tokyo’s 337 and Kanagawa Prefecture’s 112). There are 5 Matsuya stores within Yao City, and three of them — Kintetsu-Yao Ekimae Store, Yao-Minami Taishido Store (2037), and Gaikan Yao Store (0897) — are co-located with the tonkatsu chain Matsunoya. With the return to 7 AM opening, the location now offers both Matsuya’s morning set meals and Matsunoya’s morning menu from early in the day.
