On Matsuya’s official store information page, the note about the temporary closure and reopening date that had been attached to this location has disappeared, and the store name has reverted to its normal listing, “Matsuya Urawa Nakamachi (co-located with Matsunoya).”

The closure lasted seven days, from 3 PM on July 7 to 3 PM on July 14. The store reopened today at 3 PM, exactly as announced.

The Closure Schedule Was Pushed Back Four Days From the Original Announcement

This reopening came after the schedule had been rearranged once. The closure was originally announced as running “from 3 PM on July 3 to 3 PM on July 10,” but as of June 24 this had been changed to “from 3 PM on July 7 to 3 PM on July 14.” Both the closing and reopening dates were pushed back by four days each, while the closure period itself remained seven days.

Across Saitama Prefecture as a whole, 43 of Matsuya’s 102 locations are co-located with Matsunoya, and Urawa Nakamachi is one of them. This development is the reopening of an existing location, not a new store opening.
