Matsuya has launched a campaign on its official X account to celebrate the release of the ‘Pork & Kimchi Set Meal,’ which went on sale today, August 25 (Tue), at 10:00 a.m. Customers can enter by following the official account (@matsuya_foods) and reposting the campaign post; 30 winners chosen by lottery will receive 1,000 Matsuya Points usable in the official Matsuya Foods app. The entry period runs through August 31 (Mon).

A Regular Promotion Paired with New Menu Launches

This format—giving away 1,000 Matsuya Points to 30 lottery winners via a Follow & Repost Campaign—is a standard promotion that Matsuya repeats each time it launches a new menu item; including this one, it has been run 17 times since April 2026 alone. The prize has been the same each time: 1,000 Matsuya Points awarded to 30 winners chosen by lottery.

The star of the campaign, the Pork & Kimchi Set Meal (890 yen), pairs pork with Matsuya’s in-house Mt. Fuji Kimchi, both coated in Matsuya’s special sauce. It was announced in advance via an official notice dated August 20 and an official X post on August 21, before going on sale today at 10:00 a.m. However, the notice itself made no mention of the Follow & Repost Campaign, which was instead announced solely on the official X account.

Notably, at 9:00 a.m. the same day, the official X account also posted about the return of the store-limited Grilled Eel Bowl, with the Pork & Kimchi Set Meal release celebration following an hour later.
