Matsuya Foods’ takeout series “MATSUYA DELI” has added seven items, including yakiniku dishes, to “Matsuya DELI à la Carte,” a bulk-buy menu exclusive to the official Matsuya App. Sales start at 10 a.m. on September 22, 2026. The four yakiniku items, led by Yakiniku Beef DELI, were excluded from the app’s à la Carte category when the series launched on September 1, and have now all been added together. Bulk-buy discounts in the app start at 300 yen off for a combo of 2 items, up to 750 yen off for 5 items.

Bulk-Buy Discounts with the Matsuya App-Exclusive “Matsuya DELI à la Carte”

“Matsuya DELI à la Carte” is a category you can choose when ordering through the official Matsuya App (Matsuya Mobile Order and Matsuben Net), letting you mix and match DELI menu items freely. According to the announcement on Matsuya’s official website, the following discounts apply depending on the number of items in your combination.

In every case, this works out to 150 yen off per item. The promotional image carries the text “Limited-time items are included too!” and “Save up to 750 yen!”, with the Matsuya Mobile Order and Matsuben Net logos lined up at the bottom.

The Four Yakiniku Items Were Excluded from the App’s à la Carte at Launch

Of the seven items listed as “newly added products” this time, four items — Yakiniku Beef DELI, Yakiniku Boneless Short Rib DELI, Yakiniku Pork Loin DELI, and Stir-fried Pork with Ginger Soy Sauce DELI — were also listed under the same names and prices in the product lineup at the series launch on September 1. However, the announcement at that time stated clearly that “Yakiniku Beef DELI, Yakiniku Boneless Short Rib DELI, Yakiniku Pork Loin DELI, and Stir-fried Pork with Ginger Soy Sauce DELI are not eligible for ‘MATSUYA DELI à la Carte,’” so they could not be selected in the app’s à la Carte category. With this announcement, those four items have been added to the à la Carte lineup.

DELI items are takeout-only single dishes that come without rice or salad, so they are structured differently from the set meals served in the store (which come with rice and salad). The DELI prices for the four yakiniku items and the prices of the corresponding set meals are as follows.

The Three Cheese and Egg Hamburg Steak Items Were Not Among the 13 Items on September 1

The remaining three items — Cheese Umatoma Hamburg Steak DELI, Hamburg Steak with Brown Sauce and Cheese DELI, and Hamburg Steak with Brown Sauce and Sunny-side Up DELI (all 630 yen) — are names that were not among the 13 items on sale at the September 1 launch, and were newly listed in this announcement. As of September 1, there were two Hamburg Steak DELI items, Umatoma Hamburg Steak DELI and Hamburg Steak with Brown Sauce DELI (both 630 yen).

The DELI Hamburg Steak items are all priced at 630 yen regardless of toppings, whereas the set meal prices go up as more toppings are added.

Because all three DELI items cost the same 630 yen as the base versions, the price gap with the topped set meals widens as more toppings are added.

Participating Stores and Conditions of Use

The offer applies to Matsuya stores nationwide, with some exceptions. Matsuya’s official announcement notes that Beef Curry & Rice DELI (Founding Beef Curry and Rice DELI) is not available at stores co-located with My Curry Shokudo, and that Haneda Innovation City Store, Narita Airport Terminal 3 Store, and expressway parking area stores are excluded. All prices include tax, and shareholder benefit vouchers cannot be used.

How This Differs from the In-Store “Trial Fair”

Alongside the September 1 launch, MATSUYA DELI also ran an in-store “Trial Fair” through 10 a.m. on September 15. According to the September 1 announcement, the in-store bulk-buy discount shrinks to 200 yen off for a set of 2 and 300 yen off for a set of 3 from 10 a.m. on September 15. Meanwhile, the “Matsuya DELI à la Carte” discount in the official Matsuya App (300 yen off for 2 items up to 750 yen off for 5 items) was announced as continuing “after 10 a.m. on September 15,” so this addition of yakiniku items expands the eligible items for that ongoing app discount.
