The fair began at 10:00 on September 1, the same moment as the nationwide launch, so one week remains before the deadline. The post opens with ‘Maybe you don’t have to make the whole meal today,’ and encourages shoppers to buy side dishes such as Beef Plate and Hamburg Steak in bulk for ‘just one more dish’ at a discount.

Up to 450 Yen Off for Bulk Buys, With Specific Combinations Shown

The image attached to the post shows three discounted combinations with prices. ‘Beef Plate & Beef Plate w/ Grated Radish & Ponzu Citrus Soy Sauce’ drops from the regular 840 yen to 540 yen (300 yen off), ‘Umatoma Hamburg Steak & Beef Plate’ from 1,000 yen to 700 yen (300 yen off), and ‘Beef Plate, Green Onion and Soft-boiled Egg Beef Plate & Beef Plate w/ Grated Radish & Ponzu Citrus Soy Sauce’ from 1,410 yen to 960 yen (450 yen off). That preview was a single plate with Hamburg Steak and Boneless Short Rib, so its lineup differs from the 13 items, such as Beef Plate, Hamburg Steak and Yakiniku, that began on September 1.

The nationwide version was announced on September 1 in an official Matsuya notice as ‘a new series that brightens the dining table.’ It turns ingredients familiar from bowls and set meals into standalone takeout side dishes, and the ‘Trial Fair’ whose deadline is now approaching started at the same time as the launch. Five items, including Tomato and Cheese Beef Plate, were added on September 1, widening the lineup.

The Fourth Announcement Since Launch

The official X account has repeatedly featured the series since September 3, and this post is the fourth. On September 3 it published a post introducing all 13 items with prices and another suggesting a table where you buy only the side dishes, and on September 4 it announced an app-only bulk-buy discount. The discount terms of 300 yen off for two items and 450 yen off for three have not changed since the first post, and this time the deadline is placed front and center.
