At 10:00 a.m. on May 12, Matsuya’s official X account (@matsuya_foods) launched a Follow & Repost Campaign to mark Part 2 of the Kobito Zukan collaboration. The prize lineup is a lavish one: five winners chosen by lottery will each receive a Giant Plush Kakuremomojiri (about 80cm long) plus 5,000 Matsuya Points, with entries accepted from 10:00 a.m. today, May 12, through 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, May 24. At the same 10:00 a.m. slot today, a separate Follow & Repost campaign marking the Batachiki launch also went live, meaning the official X account started two Follow & Repost campaigns at the exact same time.

An Exact Match to the Part 1 Campaign on March 31

A Follow & Repost campaign of the same format was also held on the day the Kobito collaboration’s Part 1 began (March 31), and today’s Part 2 matches it exactly in content, number of winners, and duration.

How It Differs From the Simultaneous Batachiki Launch Follow & Repost Campaign

At the same 10:00 a.m. slot on May 12, a separate “Butter Chicken Curry and Rice Launch Follow & Repost Campaign” also went live alongside the Kobito Part 2 campaign. With two Follow & Repost campaigns running at once, the two differ in prize scale.

The Kobito campaign is designed around a “large prize, few winners” model, while the Batachiki campaign takes the contrasting “modest prize, many winners” approach — a structure that runs collaboration promotion and new-menu promotion on two separate campaign axes.

Editor's Note

Two Follow & Repost campaigns dropped simultaneously at 10:00 a.m. — one for Kobito Part 2, one marking the Batachiki launch. The Kobito campaign offers a Giant Plush plus 5,000 points to 5 winners, in the same 13-day structure as Part 1 (March 31).
