Matsuya’s official store information shows that, as of the evening of June 1, the phrase “*Temporarily Closed Due to Typhoon Impact” has been appended to the end of the store names of four locations in Okinawa Prefecture. The four affected stores, listed below, are all suburban-type stores co-located with other brands.

This time, the notation on all four stores reads only “*Temporarily Closed Due to Typhoon Impact,” with no mention of a reopening timeframe or a specific closure date and time. Given this wording, the notation appears to be an ongoing, as-needed notice attached to the store name in response to a developing situation, rather than a temporary closure with a schedule fixed in advance, as is the case with renovations.
