Matsuya's Official X Highlights ONE PIECE Collaboration 'Acrylic Block Chopstick Rest,' Touting Its 8mm Thickness for Display

On July 3, Matsuya’s official X account (@matsuya_foods) once again introduced the “Original Acrylic Block Chopstick Rest,” a bonus item from the TV anime ONE PIECE collaboration. Available with an order of the Giant Serving Set or the ONE PIECE Set, the item was described as having “outstanding presence at 8mm thick,” with Matsuya touting it as fun not only as a chopstick rest but also as a display piece for shelves or desks.

An 8mm-thick block, fun to display too

The posted photo shows the chopstick rest featuring “Luffy & Loki,” a design drawn exclusively for Matsuya. Luffy and Loki, each holding up a bowl of Beef Bowl, are set inside a translucent acrylic block, with the words “MONKEY.D.LUFFY” and “LOKI” also included. In front, black chopsticks rest on it as intended, while a polka-dot dish from the collaboration lineup sits in the background. Formed as a solid 8mm-thick block, it’s built for both practical use and display.

One of 12 random designs with an order of the target set

The Acrylic Block Chopstick Rest comes in 12 random designs: ten from the Straw Hat Pirates, including Luffy and Zoro, plus the Matsuya-exclusive “Luffy & Loki” A and B designs. It measures roughly W75 x H50 x D8mm. Customers receive one for every order of the target Giant Serving Set (1,430 yen, featuring extra-large serving rice topped with beef and onion at three times the regular serving) or the ONE PIECE Set (an additional 200 yen added to any of the six Beef Bowl varieties). This applies to orders both in-store and via Matsuben Net, Matsuya Mobile Order, and Matsuben Delivery. Both sets went on sale June 30. This collaboration is part of the “Natsu da! En da! Daimanpuku Matsuri,” running for about 99 days from June 30 to October 6.
