Matsuya's Official X Account Announces 'Summer Beer Fair' with 70-Yen Discount on Super Dry Bottles
On July 7, Matsuya’s official X account (@matsuya_foods) announced the launch of the “Summer Beer Fair.” The post declared, “We’re doing it again this year!”, signaling that the fair is an annual event, and during the campaign period, eligible beers are offered at discounted prices during the limited hours of 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Ordering through the Matsuya App brings even greater savings, according to the announcement.
Super Dry Bottle Discounted by 70 Yen to 420 Yen, Nama Jokki Kan to 270 Yen
According to the announcement image, two Super Dry products are eligible. Bottled beer is offered at 420 yen, a 70-yen discount from the regular 490 yen, and the Nama Jokki Kan is offered at 270 yen, a 20-yen discount from the regular 290 yen. The fair runs from Tuesday, July 7 to Monday, September 28, with the discount limited to the hours of 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. The image also states, “Even better deals with the app!!”, indicating that ordering through the Matsuya App brings additional savings. A notice is also included stating, “Drinking alcohol by minors and driving after drinking are strictly prohibited by law.”
The July 2 Announcement Specified Dine-In Only, Nationwide
The Summer Beer Fair had already been announced on July 2. That earlier notice stated that the fair would be dine-in only and held nationwide, excluding some locations, and that bottled beer would be even cheaper when ordered through the official app. This latest announcement from the official X account, timed to coincide with the fair’s opening day, reiterates the limited hours and the app-ordering advantage. Running for roughly three months, the fair is designed to encourage a drink at Matsuya throughout the summer.
