Matsuya will hold the app-exclusive “Tanabata Point Boost Campaign” from 0:00 on July 7 to 23:59 on July 13, 2026. Orders placed for eligible menu items through the eligible services “Matsuben Net” and “Matsuya Mobile Order” will earn bonus Matsuya Points. The limited-time promotion is timed to coincide with Tanabata (July 7).

Eligible Bowls Earn 50 Points, Topping Beef Bowls Earn 30 Points

The bonus is 50 Matsuya Points for three eligible bowl menu items, and 30 points for five eligible topping beef bowl menu items. All sizes are eligible, and the eligible Samgyetang-style Soup Set is also covered. Points are still awarded when paying with “MATSUYA PASS.”

Category Eligible Menu Items Points Awarded
Bowl Menu Kimchi Kalbi Bowl / Beef Bibim Bowl / Salt-based Green Onion Pork Loin Bowl 50pt
Topping Beef Bowl Extra Green Onion Spicy-Savory Green Onion & Egg Beef Bowl / Oni-oroshi Grated Radish Ponzu Citrus Soy Sauce Beef Bowl / Kimchi Beef Bowl / Cheese Beef Bowl / Umatoma Cheese Beef Bowl 30pt

Eligible Services and Exclusion Conditions

Eligible orders are those placed through “Matsuben Net” and “Matsuya Mobile Order”; “Matsuben Delivery” is not eligible. The campaign period is determined by the pickup date and time. Eligible stores are Matsuya locations nationwide, excluding a few — the Haneda Innovation City store, the Narita Airport Terminal 3 store, and stores located inside highway parking areas are excluded. Points awarded under this campaign are not eligible for the point multiplier boost campaign. Note that although July 7 falls within the “Bowl & Bento Point Boost Campaign” period, menu items eligible for this campaign will earn +50 points rather than +100 points.

The Best Value: Small Serving of Salt-based Green Onion Pork Loin Bowl

Since the points awarded are the same regardless of size, choosing the lower-priced size among eligible menu items yields a higher effective return rate.

  • Among bowls (50pt), the cheapest is the Small Serving Salt-based Green Onion Pork Loin Bowl at 600 yen, for a return rate of about 8.3%
  • The Kimchi Kalbi Bowl and Beef Bibim Bowl are 660 yen at Small Serving, giving about 7.6% with 50 points
  • Among topping beef bowls (30pt), the cheapest are the Small Serving Kimchi Beef Bowl and Oni-oroshi Grated Radish Ponzu Citrus Soy Sauce Beef Bowl at 530 yen, for about 5.7%

Both the points awarded and the return rate favor the 50-point bowl menu items, and the Small Serving Salt-based Green Onion Pork Loin Bowl at 600 yen is the most efficient choice.

Early July Brings a Cluster of App Point Campaigns

Around the Matsuya app, the “Bowl & Bento Point Boost Campaign,” which adds bonus points to takeout bowl menu items, ran from July 1 to July 7, making early July a period with back-to-back point promotions. This latest campaign, timed to Tanabata, is a new initiative that awards points on app orders regardless of whether customers dine in or take out.

Editor's Note

Using Tanabata as the occasion, just ordering through the app earns up to 50pt. The Small Serving Salt-based Green Onion Pork Loin Bowl might quietly be the smartest pick.
