Matsuya Official X Promotes ONE PIECE Set-Eligible 'Beef Bowl topped with Tomato and Cheese' as a Tomato-and-Cheese Bowl

Matsuya’s official X account (@matsuya_foods) posted on July 21, 2026, putting the spotlight on the Beef Bowl topped with Tomato and Cheese, one of the six items eligible for the “ONE PIECE Set” in the TV anime ONE PIECE collaboration. The post lines up three flavor elements, “the tang of tomato × melty cheese × the savory depth of beef,” and adds “+200 yen gets you a collaboration chopstick rest,” introducing the bonus goods that come with the eligible beef bowls.

Tomato × Cheese × Beef: A Fusion Bowl That Debuted in April

The Beef Bowl topped with Tomato and Cheese joined the regular Beef Bowl category on April 7, 2026, making it a relatively new bowl. It is priced at 690 yen (Regular Serving, tax included) and comes to 933 kcal for the Regular Serving. It layers the tang of tomato sauce and melting cheese over a Beef Bowl, and as the name says, it combines tomato, cheese, and beef in a single bowl.

In the post’s photo, red tomato sauce is poured over the beef and onions in a bowl bearing the Matsuya logo, topped with melted cheese and green herbs. In front, Miso Soup and the bonus acrylic block chopstick rest, with chopsticks laid across it, sit on a black tray. The chopstick rest depicts Nico Robin of the Straw Hat Pirates.

+200 Yen on a Beef Bowl Gets You a Chopstick Rest, One of 12 Random Designs

The “ONE PIECE Set” works like this: add 200 yen (tax included) to an eligible Beef Bowl and you get one bonus “Original Acrylic Block Chopstick Rest” (12 designs, random, 8 mm thick). For the Beef Bowl topped with Tomato and Cheese, that means the regular 690 yen plus 200 yen, for a set price of 890 yen (Regular Serving). The eligible Beef Bowls are the six below, and the Beef Bowl topped with Tomato and Cheese is one of them.

• Beef Bowl Set
• Beef Bowl topped with Cheese Set
• Beef Bowl topped with Green Onion and Soft Boiled Egg Set
• Bowl of Mixed Simmered Beef and Kimchi Set
• Beef Bowl topped with Grated Radish & Ponzu Citrus Soy Sauce Set
• Beef Bowl topped with Tomato and Cheese Set

The chopstick rests come in 12 random designs: the Straw Hat Pirates plus a Matsuya-exclusive original illustration of “Luffy & Roki.” The Nico Robin design in this photo is one of them, and the offer ends while supplies last.

Midway Through the Collaboration, Naming the Six Beef Bowls One by One

This collaboration is part of “Natsu da! En da! Daimanpuku Matsuri,” running from 10:00 on June 30 through 9:59 on October 6. Since the collaboration entered its middle stretch, the official X account has been featuring the six eligible items one at a time: on July 15 it starred “the classic Beef Bowl Matsuya is known for,” on July 16 the “Beef Bowl topped with Grated Radish & Ponzu Citrus Soy Sauce,” and now, on July 21, it is the turn of the “Beef Bowl topped with Tomato and Cheese.” With the same bonus and the same period as the common thread, the spotlight keeps moving from one eligible item to the next.
