Matsuya will simultaneously open two new stores at 10:00 AM on July 31: “Matsuya Oyama Kizawa Store (2313)” in Oyama City, Tochigi Prefecture, and “Matsuya Kumagaya Ishiwara Store (2314)” in Kumagaya City, Saitama Prefecture. Both are 24-hour-operation stores co-located with Matsunoya, marking the second Matsuya location in each city.
Oyama City, Tochigi Prefecture: “Oyama Kizawa Store,” Co-located with Matsunoya
Matsuya Oyama Kizawa Store is located at 661-13 Oaza Kizawa, Oyama City, Tochigi Prefecture. It has 24-hour operation, with a late-night surcharge of about 7% added from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning. It is the second Matsuya in Oyama City, following Matsuya Oyama Store (2096), bringing the total number of Matsuya locations in Tochigi Prefecture to 11. Since it is co-located with Matsunoya, customers can enjoy both Beef Bowl and Tonkatsu at one location.
Kumagaya City, Saitama Prefecture: “Kumagaya Ishiwara Store” Is Also a 24-Hour-Operation Store Co-located with Matsunoya
Matsuya Kumagaya Ishiwara Store is located at 600-1 Ishiwara, Kumagaya City, Saitama Prefecture. It, too, has 24-hour operation and is co-located with Matsunoya, with the same late-night pricing. It is the second Matsuya in Kumagaya City, following Matsuya Kumagaya Bypass Store (0190), bringing the total number of Matsuya locations in Saitama Prefecture to 102.
A Continuing Wave of New Stores Co-located with Matsunoya
Matsuya has recently continued opening new stores co-located with Matsunoya. Looking at the store list, the Numazu Higashishiiji Store in Shizuoka Prefecture (opening July 11) and the Tomisato Interchange Store in Chiba Prefecture (opening July 17) are listed as upcoming openings, and the new Oyama Kizawa and Kumagaya Ishiwara stores follow the same pattern seen in these recent openings — 24-hour operation co-located with Matsunoya. Deploying both the Beef Bowl and Tonkatsu brands at a single location is increasingly becoming the standard approach for new store openings.
