Matsuya's Official X Names MATSUYA PASS Today's Lucky Item in Fortune-Telling-Style Visual

On the morning of July 9, Matsuya’s official X account (@matsuya_foods) posted a fortune-telling-style visual naming the discount pass “MATSUYA PASS” as “today’s lucky item.” The post noted, “Thanks to its popularity, it appears to be sold out at many stores!” and urged fans to act quickly: “If you find a store that still has it in stock, please be sure to purchase it soon,” adding the hashtag “#WhileSuppliesLast.”

“Today’s Lucky Color Is Light Blue,” and the Lucky Item Is MATSUYA PASS

The image features a light-blue, starry-sky-style design, presented in the format of a fortune reading titled “Your Fortune for Today.” It first states, “Today’s lucky color is light blue,” adding, “A color that calms the mind and resets your fortune. With a pure heart, it draws in good flow.” This is followed by “Today’s lucky item is MATSUYA PASS,” introduced with the line, “An item that makes your daily meals more affordable and more enjoyable. Every time you use it, something nice might happen ♪.” Below that, an image of the July edition card is displayed, closing with the message, “Have a wonderful day with your lucky color and lucky item!”

The light blue named as the lucky color is also the actual color scheme of the July edition MATSUYA PASS card itself. On July 5, the official X account also posted a “Color Hunting”-style collage image gathering items in matching shades of blue, tying the card’s color together with the fortune’s lucky color in its presentation.

100 Yen Off Set Meals, 70 Yen Off Beef Bowl — Valid Through the End of July

MATSUYA PASS is a discount pass that lets holders purchase eligible items at a reduced price as many times as they like during its valid period. According to the card, eligible items are 100 yen off Set Meals and 70 yen off Beef Bowl and Curry and Rice Bowl, with a valid period from July 1 to July 31, 2026. It can be used at Matsuya as well as Matsunoya and My Curry Shokudo, and is applied by scanning a QR code via the Matsuya App or at the ticket vending machine. This latest post reiterated the valid period as “through the end of this month.”

The July edition was announced in an official notice dated June 22, titled “It’s Back! Enjoy Matsuya Meals at a Discount Any Number of Times in July — Sales of the Discount Pass ‘MATSUYA PASS’ Begin!,” with sales starting at 10:00 a.m. on June 26. As indicated by the hashtag “#WhileSuppliesLast,” the pass is sold in limited quantities, and it is reportedly sold out at many stores.

Since the launch, the official X account has posted about MATSUYA PASS almost daily, covering everything from how to buy and use it to encouraging timely purchases.
