On the morning of August 9, 2026, Matsuya’s official X account announced that Matsuya Points earned through the ongoing Hamburg Steak Set Meal & Bento Point Boost Campaign would be boosted for one day only. To mark “Hamburg Day” on August 9, ordering an eligible Hamburg Steak Set Meal & Bento for takeout earns more Matsuya Points than usual.

The post read, “Today is Hamburg Day (´｡• ᵕ •｡) Order a Hamburg Steak Set Meal for takeout through the Matsuya App today only and get +100pt! Be sure to take advantage!” — highlighting the standout day within the 10-day campaign.

Normally +70 Points, +100 Points Today Only

The campaign runs from 12:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 1, 2026 through 11:59 p.m. on Monday, August 10, 2026. During this period, ordering an eligible Hamburg Steak Set Meal & Bento earns +70 Matsuya Points more than the usual amount, and that bonus rises to +100 points only for orders picked up on “Hamburg Day,” Sunday, August 9, 2026. Whether the higher bonus applies is determined by the pickup date and time.

Eligible orders are takeout orders placed via Matsuben Net or Matsuya Mobile Order; Matsuben Delivery is excluded. The announcement image shows two Hamburg Steak Set Meal & Bento options — one topped with a soft-poached egg over brown sauce, the other coated in a whitish sauce — each pictured alongside cups of rice and salad.

Five Takeout Bento Varieties Are Eligible

According to a notice posted on Matsuya’s official website dated July 31, 2026, the eligible items are the Brown Sauce, Brown Sauce and Sunny-side Up, Brown Sauce and Cheese, Umatoma, and Cheese Umatoma Hamburg Steak Set Meal & Bento varieties, including Single and Triple configurations. These are takeout bentos ordered via Matsuben Net or Matsuya Mobile Order, and they form a separate menu lineup from the dine-in Hamburg Steak Set Meals, such as the Umatoma Hamburg Steak Set Meal.

A Recurring App-Exclusive Point Boost Feature

App-exclusive point boosts on the Matsuya App are held repeatedly to mark seasons and anniversaries. Most recently, a Tanabata point boost (+50 points) covering bowl items ran from July 7–13, 2026, followed by a point boost for the Grilled Eel Bowl (+100 points) from July 21–27, 2026. This latest campaign continues that pattern, this time putting Hamburg Steak in the spotlight. According to Matsuya, an app-exclusive point boost centered on Hamburg Steak is the third of its kind and the first in about two years and four months.
