On the morning of August 9, Matsuya’s official X account announced that Matsuya Points will be granted in a larger amount for today only under the ongoing “Hamburg Steak Set Meal & Bento Point Boost Campaign.” To mark August 9, “Hamburg Day,” ordering a qualifying Hamburg Steak Set Meal Bento for takeout earns more Matsuya Points than usual.

The post reads, “Today is Hamburg Day (´｡• ᵕ •｡)　Takeout a Hamburg Steak Set Meal via the Matsuya App and get +100pt, today only! Please make use of it!” It spotlights the highlight day of a campaign that runs for 10 days.

Usually +70 Points, Today Only +100 Points

The campaign runs from 0:00 on Saturday, August 1, 2026, through 23:59 on Monday, August 10. During the campaign period, ordering a qualifying Hamburg Steak Set Meal Bento earns +70 Matsuya Points over the usual amount, and orders picked up on Sunday, August 9, Hamburg Day, are boosted to +100 points. Whether the boost applies is determined by the date and time of pickup.

Qualifying orders are takeout orders placed through Matsuben Net and Matsuya Mobile Order; Matsuben Delivery is not eligible. The promotional image shows two kinds of Hamburg Steak Set Meal Bento: one with Brown Sauce topped with an Onsen Egg, and one coated in a whitish sauce, each served with a cup of rice and a cup of salad.

Five Takeout Bentos Qualify

According to an announcement on the official Matsuya website dated July 31, the qualifying items are the Hamburg Steak Set Meal Bentos with Brown Sauce, Sunny-side Up Brown Sauce, Cheese Brown Sauce, Umatoma, and Cheese Umatoma, including Single and Triple configurations. These are takeout bentos ordered through Matsuben Net or Matsuya Mobile Order, and their menu is separate from the standard Hamburg Steak set meals served in-store, such as the Umatoma Hamburg Steak Set Meal.

A Classic App-Exclusive Point Boost Campaign

App-exclusive point boosts are held repeatedly to coincide with seasons and special days. Most recently, a Tanabata point boost (+50 points) on bowl dishes ran from July 7 to 13, and a point boost (+100 points) on Grilled Eel Bowls ran from July 21 to 27. This campaign follows in that vein, with Hamburg Steak taking center stage. According to Matsuya’s announcement, this is the third app-exclusive point boost starring Hamburg Steak, and the first in about two years and four months.

The campaign continues through Monday, August 10, but the +100 point boost applies only to orders picked up today, August 9.
